2023-08-12 21:47:54 +0000 UTCYou guys have talked about the importance of communication a lot and I just want to say I love how you always talk about each other in a respectful way! like how Wes started his "gripe" about Steph and Rose teaming up to get more ice cream with a compliment and in a tone that makes it clear it is not something he is actually angry about. And this may sound weird but it's heartwarming to see that you guys are obviously actively working on your communication to be at this level. So many couples I see on the internet often live off of roasting/pranking each other or acting like they have the perfect fairytale lovestory. But with you I always feel like you have such a high regard for each other and each other's opinion :) Again sorry if this sounds weird coming from a stranger haha but I wanted to let you know because I feel like it's part of the reason why it's so enjoyable to watch your reactions!

2023-08-11 21:42:06 +0000 UTCFirstly, I kind of love it when Wes cries. I appreciate that he's open and honest with his feelings and allows himself to feel for these characters. But I've been diagnosed with CPTSD and also have an auditory trigger and that can almost be more intense than visual, so I think they portrayed that scene very well. There should have been more hyperventilating but it's a hell of a lot better than how America portrays post-war PTSD. American media makes it seem like anyone with post-war trauma is violent and aggressive, but most survivors are more likely to freeze, paralyzed by a fear so intense that their bodies are reliving being in that situation. I experience both, so I get super angry, (especially at myself,) but be too frozen to act on my anger in any way. So even if someone does experience rage or anger for the PTSD, they can't usually act on it anyway. I think they also showed the confusion element very well. Gods, I love this show. And I love watching with you guys. It's like watching with friends 🥰
