Ice Cave - Working on Overdrive Set
Added 2022-01-19 21:02:15 +0000 UTCHowdy patrons! I did a little more work on my Overdrive set. I'm trying to figure that out now. Are videos like this interesting? I could do some better/longer set videos if so. I think this is looking good, but of course, not done! It's taking a while b/c it seems there is an order I have to do the steps, and there are a ton of steps. Both caves will have lights (and I have to hide the battery packs). It is possible to build a set like this w/o adding plaster, but I'm going to anyway. Maybe not everywhere, but, if I want to pour resin on the floor of the ice cave to make it shiny, that could eat the foam. So, plaster should fix the floor. Anyway, here's the video... I linked to the hot wire foam cutter and water FX for anyone interested. The foam all came from Home Depot. (Where we live Home Depot has the pink insulation foam, Lowes has the green foam, both have white foam. Different foam has different uses with certain diorama things, but for this it doesn't really matter what you use).
