Moving Scam Update

I can't tell if this is shocking, or if it seems like a situation we'd find ourselves in. Kinda seems on-brand for us... but anyway, a detective has forwarded us to an FBI agent. When we went to move some of Mia's things from Oregon to PA, not gonna lie, I didn't expect to end up talking to the FBI, after these crooks charged an additional $10,000 to an already high estimate, only to disappear with the stuff for three weeks and counting. There have been enough complaints about these guys for the FBI to actually work with us. Ain't that somethin'?
I'm so ready for this to be done. Our life has kinda been on hold since Sept 27th. Just gotta be home waiting by the phone all day every day for the movers to call or show up. If they show up and you're not home, they'll just take the stuff and store it for you. They'll charge you a $2,100 delivery fee each time, and then who knows how much they charge each day to store the stuff. I'm sure they'd love to show up and have you not to be home.
But, in the time they've been hanging on to our stuff and not communicating, Mia and I have been doing a lot of digging, poking around, and contacting... perhaps these guys won't be in business much longer. (Hopefully we'll get our stuff before anything crazy goes down though...)
Today we talked to police both in PA & NJ.
Well, when we're not doing legal research and calling people about this crap, we're working on MMPR stuff. I got the Andros figure with the cloak. I'm working on a thing for that now, and Mia's doing a puppet thing for me, which I think looks cool. Stay tuned!
