Facebook thinks this was 15 years ago. If I'm 23 now, that would make us about 8 here? I guess that checks out. I remember how much I used to love making those shirts. It was fun going out when we'd all be wearing them. Lots of people would notice, even if they weren't sure what they were seeing. The Ninja Storm shirts were from before you could just steal an internet image and upload it to a shirt site. Mia would design the shirts in Photoshop, then we'd burn a CD, and take that to a place that made t-shirts. Jerry's was extra expensive b/c it used two colors.
Like Ninja Storm, Mia, Jerry, and I would have been late to class that day. Either we were sitting in the cafeteria too long, or we stopped to play on the swings outside the dorm on the way to class. Mia and I would have felt it was our responsibility to become rangers and stop Lothor, qualified or not. Jerry would have given an apathetic "okay" and come along as the yellow ranger.
(The ranger shirts like this that you see all many of the ranger actors wearing didn't come from us. Once the print on demand things were more accessible, lots of people jumped on that. Of the shirts I saw in person, Mia's shirts were better quality, in a few ways. The company we used to use that did the vinyl printing no longer offers the various fancy printing options, which is a shame. But, either way, we never really intended to sell our shirts, they were just for us and the channel. For anyone who did buy a vinyl shirt back in the day, those are harder to come by now - could be worth millions!!!).
