The thing about Matt Damon
Added 2018-10-17 22:36:35 +0000 UTCOkay- so I generally enjoy Matt Damon movies. Saving Private Ryan? OMG. Goodwill Hunting? I sobbed. But the thing about almost all his movies is he is technically the damsel in distress. Once the movie The Martian came out, it almost seemed like a joke to me and I wanted to do a comic....but how the hell do I do it??
When I started to make a list of all his movies, I started to repeat them back to myself almost like a metronome and I started to rhyme certain words. It came together when by chance I said out loud βI do not like saving Matt Damonβ that I made the mental connection to Dr.Seussβ Green Eggs and Ham.
It was a stretch. lol
Admittedly, I knew this comic wouldnβt be a crowning achievement. BUT! I enjoyed making another crap poem as well as taking on such an iconic art style and adapting it to The Reddot.
