Hello, everyone! How are you doing?

First of all, I want to apologize for my absence. As I mentioned in the last post, a series of events ended up throwing me off balance, and because of that, I didnโ€™t have time to write the way I would have liked. On top of that, I started a creative writing course that, honestly, completely changed the way I see the writing process.

One of the main obstacles I realized was trying to write directly in English. Since itโ€™s not my native language, I often felt stuck, dependent on translators, and frequently frustrated. Being Brazilian, I decided to change my approach: now I write my drafts in Portuguese, revise them, and only then translate them into English. This has brought a new dynamic and much more fluidity to the process. I hope this change will reflect positively in the stories.

With this new perspective, Iโ€™m rewriting Time Between Us, as well as developing new concepts for that story and others I plan to set in the Harry Potter universe.

To give a small spoiler and share a bit of whatโ€™s coming: have you ever imagined how science as we know itโ€”physics and chemistryโ€”could intertwine with magic? This is a theme that has always fascinated me and that Iโ€™m now beginning to explore more seriously.

Another important point: I plan to revamp Like Fire and Moonlight. The main plot will remain the same, but I want to tweak parts that felt too rushed, others that dragged unnecessarily, and improve dialogue that now feels unnatural to me. I feel I owe that to you, the readers whoโ€™ve always been with me and deserve the best version of these stories.
