Beta vs Alpha
Added 2021-06-29 12:56:12 +0000 UTCI've had a few patrons cancel already (which stinks because they essentially got 100% free Gold) due to the new Alpha tier. I'd like to assure my Beta Testers that there is still a lot of value in being just a Beta Tester.
Example: I just put up the Steak Kabob Market on the Alpha game. When it goes into the live game it will be open to Beta Testers only for 3-5 days. The same will be true when the Ironworks and Storehouse get added to the game.
Alpha players are getting to see it built and try it in a sandboxed game that doesn't affect the live game. Beta testers are getting to use big changes / features in the live game before it opens to the general population. There's an immense amount of things in work that will go on Alpha first and then to Beta.
