I have no idea about EC I actually never installed it. I am not sure what ther requierments or diferences are in between both. I think theres was a way to change mods from one to another maybe ask around in the discord.

That would probably be my wet dream (especially since you deal strictly with anime maps), especially since of the trinity of twins Koikatsu, Koikatsu Sunshine, and Emotion Creators, unfortunately the third one is always overlooked by people porting maps. which always hurts me because I mainly use EC.
