A Short Rant
Added 2025-04-02 20:00:39 +0000 UTCSo it was brought to my attention that someone is posting my stuff online, if it was just the stuff that is aready free then I would have no issue hell I even encourage it but posting the stuff that is only for members is just an insult.
Look I don't mind you stealing for me that is why I give everything for free and I take request from everyone I can member or not I have even done commissions outside of my confort zone but I try to give those who consider my work worthy of their money a benefit and some people just don't care.
I don't know what I will do maybe I will stop releasing free stuf and move to just DM members my stuff with individual passwords and even secret watermarks to ensure people don't share it. I really don't want to do that I do this as a hobbie and I don't want to put that much work into it but if I see no other way to protect my members benefits.
PS: No mods this week I am tired from this and stuff in my personal life.

you're not the only one whose stuff gets reposted onto pirating sites. happens to everyone, even people who only charge a dollar, even people that create mods from SCRATCH. porting hair into KK really isn't that difficult, and as someone else said, you aren't really creating anything original, so complaining is kinda pointless... i respect what you do and understand it takes effort (I also create hair mods lol) but going down a perma paywall route, or worse, password/watermark route, won't stop people and is just more effort on your part.

I'll tell you something I was in a worse situation than you where I did something for the community completely for free and I was repaid by someone selling many times on pixiv what I created and offered to people. And you know what I did? Instead of looking for an excuse to rob people of their money I gave up publishing. Someone just published you (because with this approach you are asking for it), ironically on a site that you use yourself since you know it. The fact that someone pays you shouldn't be classified in the modding community as faster access, let alone general access. dude, the fact that someone pays you is a pure gesture and here you write something about considering a permanent paywall. with that approach, don't count on anyone serious to understand you. Have a good day, no offence.
