Another Dino to join the dino collection is the Stego!! I tried doing this one several different ways and I found this version to fit in the best!
✨ Stego Flexi ✨
3 walls, 15% gyroid or 3D honeycomb infill. No supports.
Tested down to 50%, I don't recommend going below 70%
100% stego fits into 100% dino egg
Editing 3MF
Avoid using the slicer's fill tool when coloring the eyes, eye shines, and foot pads in the 3MF files, because they are split to parts. Instead, assign color to them from the object list to make the edges look cleaner.
The eye shines can be deleted by holding alt and clicking on them in prepare tab, then right clicking and choosing delete from the drop down.
I don't recommend printing the keychain version along side with the regular version, their height difference is going to create more waste. To delete one simply right click on it and select "delete" from the drop down.
The Egg can be found by clicking on the "patreon Exclusives" link near the top of the download post, and heading into the articulated folder, it will be in the "dino Egg" folder.
⭐As with all of my designs, I strongly advise that the printed models are not to be handled by children under 3 without proper supervision⭐

Hii!! There are several 3mf files with this one, double check that you are opening the right one on a new plate. Opening it as a project, and not importing it into a plate with other things already loaded if that makes sense. 2025-04-20 19:29:49 +0000 UTCFor the Stego files, do I need to add eye color myself? When I open the files, their eyes are the same solid color as the body and not the usual black/white shine. Their foot pads are also the same solid color as the body.

2025-04-20 03:31:40 +0000 UTCHi! Idk what happened but I did a plate of 25 @70% of the splash and after almost 20hrs where the pink and green meet up there is a visible gap all the way around. I’ve never had any problems with your files but this one. I’m sad. They look so cute. I used Poly Terra spring for the pink and panchroma summer for the green. Do we not have a chat here to send you pictures??

2025-04-19 19:02:30 +0000 UTCHad to throw an entire plate of these away because the top spikes on the Stego have an inward pointing piece (can't embed image) and if you're printing a lemon colored model with dark spikes, it ruins the top of the model because the dark, internal, piece is very visible. It looks like filament bleed until you look in the splicer and go down to the layer, you'll see where the top spikes have an inward facing part that shows through the lighter colored body plastic. Otherwise, this would be an amazing addition to the dino series.

So far everyone's favorite has been the bronto. They like the layout of the keychain. Any thoughts on making or editing more of the dinos to hang from their backs instead of their mouths?

You've always leaned into cuteness but usually there was balance with items that fit more age ranges and you tossed in the random edginess - now I feel like it's all toddler based. I'm hoping you start mixing in more of the other styles and age groups again soon :)
