It's Memorial Day in the United States but also Galactic Armory's birthday! 4 years ago today I left my really good job as a software developer to dedicate myself to Galactic Armory full time. To mark the occasion, I like to take on a unique GA themed helmet and this year I settled on something from the grimdark universe of 40k - I dub the "Galactic Armorers" Legion!
In the shop you'll also find ALL 3D files are 50% off and include this helmet as a free gift - TODAY ONLY!
I'm really proud of how this helmet came together. The original concept was from good friend of the channel GC_ConceptArt. I gave him a rough concept and a very short deadline but he came through in spectacular fashion. From there our design team knocked out the helmet in a little over a weekend while sparing no details or features!
The helmet includes the following features:
- Assembled Version
- Filled and Solid Version
- Sizing Slice at Head Opening to help gauge scale (default scaled to 24.5" circumference)
- Bambu Studio GCODE and Project files to get started printing sooner
- Pre-separated version in 17 parts
- Faceplate variants
- Visor template - use this to trace the outline that fits into the pre-slotted ridges inside the helmet
- Pre-cut parts for smaller printers

Gush time: I'm so incredibly overwhelmed by the amount of love and support you all have shown over the last 4 years. When I first quit my "real" job to pursue GA full time it made me physically sick from stress and the unknown. Now we have a full time staff of 5 highly creative people and a long list of other insanely skilled people we work with. I've got to make many new friends from the community and put all my passion and creativity into something I love. NONE of that would be possible without all of your support so, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

I hope you all enjoy your Monday! Let me know if you'd like to see more "Grimdark" files in the future!
