Added 2024-12-30 15:14:01 +0000 UTCHi everyone, I have a bit of bad news to share this morning. Patreon has complied with a DMCA takedown request for all the 40k content we have made. We have 48 hours to comply and scrub all 40k content from our Patreon if we want to stay on the platform.
There's a lot to do so it will take us some time to comply but within 48 hours neither monthly or annual members will be able to download our 40k projects.
Obviously I'm a bit tore up about the situation but I totally understand if you're just here for the 40k content. It's been a great time making stuff for you 40k fans and we will continue to make great stuff from our other favorite genres.
Thank you all so much for your support. We just had our Secret Momo gift exchange on the Discord and it was so moving to see such a vibrant and talented community giving gifts to each other. It's that kind of community that's keeping me going right now so thank you all!

If this was indeed GW, the amount of money in question is minimal to what they are making though their multiple game updates, books, miniatures, paints, terrain and the like. What's next....are they going to sue people for playing their game with homemade cardboard box terrain? Watch out, Kellogg's....you might get sued as some kid uses the raisin bran box as large terrain! :)

2024-12-31 00:39:18 +0000 UTClittle tip Marc, either using the browser or ftp, if you try and grab the items you sometimes get the quota error, this is more to do with load. But what I find is that if you move up one level, to the folder above, and click on download, google will zip the contents of the folder up (this takes a few minutes) and will then download the zip file, this doesn't then impact on the quota levels, its a little hack, but it works every time.

I'm not a big user of google drive so I've only used the web page access but this is much faster and easier to keep organized and doesn't appear as faulty as using the web download method. Basically a direct copy method using Google Drive for Desktop. https://youtu.be/ghkEErlET6A ***WARNING*** Do NOT try download\copying the entire library in one day. There is a max download ability where Google will cut you off with a daily download limit. If you have hit your max download it will reset in 24 hours. **Warning** Don't watch the rest of my channel cause I'm an old GenX fart who is very cynical and likes to scream "get off my lawn." on youtube as a cathartic release and protect my neighbors from my ramblings.

I think you might still make "inspired by" with an extra design on top (to make enough diference of the model, but make it a glue on part so technicly it's diferent but practicly it's the same. I know there must be a procentage diference from the core models and they can't do anything about it. And not using the trademarked words also. You'll need to work it out on your own tho. Just if you want to still have them try and get a workaround this way 🫡
