Chapter Five now available

This new installment is now back up and ready to play.
We've also made a few coding updates to all the previous chapters which fixed an issue which prevented skipping the bonus scenes should you have wished to.
You may need to clear your browser cache to get the full benefits of the updates.
Fingers crossed for no problems this time around.

Excellent question to which the answer is no. That is if you play the Amy Bonus you don't get time to also visit Principal Valentine's house. This scenario used to mean that later on in the afternoon (Chapter 6) you fail to complete your report and end up getting fired. It's good to see that you have noted the intentional scoring implications of initially rejecting Amy and Holly though. You also run out of time if you get the documents first. I've included a neat little way that getting fired can be avoided now with a little help from a perhaps unexpected source. This happens at the start of Ch6, but depends on the relationships you build during previous chapters. I'll explain this in more detail when Ch6 is released.

2022-10-12 18:29:58 +0000 UTCIs there a way to get the documents from Principal Valentine's house and play the Amy bonus scene? Anytime I tell Holly and Amy that I need to run an errand first, their score drops and I can't get Amy's score back up high enough to get the bonus scene. If I don't drive to Principal Valentine's house, I finally get Amy's score high enough for the bonus scene. This isn't important yet, but it probably will be in chapter six.

2022-10-12 16:53:27 +0000 UTCIndeed. I'm trying to make the narrative and dialogue variations much more flowing and relevant throughout the chapters. There are hidden variables which are tracked which enable this. I'll admit there are further opportunities to enhance this further. It's was one of the driving forces behind my decision to purse self publishing the game on a custom built web platform. Releasing downloadable html games in installments doesn't have the holistic functionality of a web platform. They are also impossible to update once released. Although there is a lot of sexual content, it's the story and character interaction which adds in the tension and excitement.

2022-10-12 15:20:49 +0000 UTCNow that the saved games issue appears to have been fixed/stabilized, I played Chapter 5 a few times and what I liked about it is the Megan interaction and the Jodie interaction. I did like the improvements/enhancements done to the Annie bonus scene and the Amy bonus scene but most people unless they've played the older Academy series a lot will probably not notice the improvements and additional "possibilities" and dialogue. What I like about the Megan interaction and the Jodie interaction since I would like to see more of it in the future chapters is that they reference past bonus scenes which hasn't been done in past chapters. While the game outcomes might change depending on whether bonus scenes happened, the dialogue doesn't change or mention the past bonus scene which seems a bit weird in character interactions/dialogue. For example, if the player plays Bridgette's bonus scene from Chapter 3, perhaps Bridgette's meter might be higher in Chapter 4 because of it but Bridgette's future dialogue up until Chapter 5 doesn't mention anything about this bonus scene so it is like the bonus scene never happened. I'm hoping to see more updated character dialogues depending on whether optional bonus scenes were done and what optional bonus scenes were done.
