Gamer System in Campione - Chapter 27

"So, I will go out as a reconnaissance while you watch from the sky the progress of the meeting between Anton and Voban?" Ozymandias guessed what she meant.

"Yes. With my [clairvoyance], I should easily be able to see the broader side of the situation while you infiltrate and possibly disrupt whatever the people of the United Magi Balkan Association are planning" Alice smiled.

"So, should I leave now to follow them? It might be better to be ready when they move" Ozymandias said as he stood up.

"Ah, please wait, Ozymandias" Alice also stood up and approached him with a bubbling smile forming on her face.

Somehow, this made Ozymandias shudder as if a shark were looking at particularly delicious meat: "Although you are doing well, I need to be able to contact you"

"Contact me?" he asked raising an eyebrow, "Couldn't you use your [telepathy] to talk to me in my mind?"

"That only works for normal people, Ozymandias" Alice admonished me as she raised a finger and wagged it in disapproval, "Surely, you know that-"

"Campiones are resistant to all forms of external magic, including those of the non-harmful kind, and so [telepathy] will not work unless you force yourself past my high resistance to magic" said the Sun King sighing.

"So normally my only way to talk to you to update you on the situation through my [Soul Projection] and [Ectoplasm], which makes me unable to be aware of my own surroundings, plus I have to talk to you loudly, which may alert a person with keen ears" explained Alice.

"The only safe way to affect a Campione is orally, the [Telepathic Link] can only be established in Campiones through a kiss, Ozymandias" Alice said with a similar red tinge on her cheek becoming larger on her face.

Ozymandias only raised an eyebrow at Alice's speech.

"Ok. So, shall we get started?" the Sun King said calmly, after all it was only a kiss.

Alice seemed surprised at the boldness, but smiled appreciatively, as she seemed too embarrassed to initiate the kiss first on a reluctant man her age.

"Ah, it's my first kiss!" She says cheerfully as she approaches Ozymandias, her platinum blonde hair dancing as she takes a small leap in her stride.

"Are you okay with that, Alice? [Telepathy] may not be necessary for today, and if you wish to have your first kiss with a boy you love, then I understand-" said Ozymandias asking for the girl's confirmation.

Alice placed a finger on Ozymandias' lips with a shy smile and a wink.

"It's okay, Ozymandias. I have no problem giving you my first kiss."

Taking this as consent, Ozymandias placed his hand on Alice's chin and gently locked his lips on hers so as not to hurt her.

All the while, Ozymandias looked directly into Alice's blue eyes in order to convey his serious intention, and she seemed to understand and trust the Sun King's will as she slowly closed her eyes and began the transfer of the [Telepathic Link].

However, it seemed that just by lightly kissing their lips they would not be able to pass the [Telepathy] link after a few seconds without progress. Therefore, Ozymandias deepened the kissing process, beginning to poke at her lips with his tongue and eventually finding a foothold in her mouth, where his tongue began to curl and interact with Alice's own tongue.

"-!" Alice seemed to be shocked at the boldness for a second before her eyes met the Sun King's golden ones.

Even though this was a kiss between a man and a woman, there wasn't much romance involved. However, when she looked into Ozymandias' eyes, she must have found something she liked, for she blushed even more and accepted the oral intrusion willingly, closing her eyes to concentrate on the spell.

While she seemed to be concentrating to cast the spell as she locked into a kiss, Ozymandias looked at Alice, noticing the little details that, although he had discovered earlier, seemed clearer when he looked at her from an extremely close distance: the fullness of body and face that did not exist three months ago, the deeper coloration of her face instead of being slightly pale as before her restoration to health, and the beautiful feminine curve of her body and natural elegance and softness of her face that reminded me of looking at a delicate white rose ...

After a few seconds of their tongues playing with each other, Alice was able to make the connection, as Ozymandias could sense a foreign presence in the back of her mind. After the foreign presence became stable, Alice opened her eyes once again and Ozymandias broke the kiss.

"Huah!" Alice took a step back with a small sigh, as she looked like she was going to fall.

"Are you okay, Alice?" asked Ozymandias worriedly.

Alice coughed into her mouth for a second with a red face, before looking at the Sun King with a wide smile.

"Ah, Ah! Um! Yes! Thank you for caring, Ozymandias. Although I have no one to compare you to, you're not a bad kisser!" She recovered admiringly as she tried to put the focus on the Sun King instead of herself, adding a coy tone of voice at the end to provoke his reaction.

Ozymandias only raised an eyebrow not knowing if that was a compliment or not, although all the women he had kissed in the past were well pleased.

"I guess ... should I go then? Update me on what's happening through our Link, and if you need help, don't hesitate to call me, Alice" Ozymandias said and started to leave the room.

"T-thank you, Ozymandias. Please take care of yourself" Ozymandias heard her say in a low voice before leaving the room.

Ozymandias went down into the basement of the hotel and opened the door of the only annex room next to the basement, where his necklace once again glowed faintly and revealed another door, which connected to a musty corridor that looked as if it had not been used for decades and followed along the dusty passage, finally reaching a staircase that rose to ground level.

Then, as he climbed the stairs, Ozymandias came to a small room with only one side door and walked out the door, only to find himself in an uncomfortably narrow dark alley between two buildings.

There were many people on the street because it was close to noon, so there was a small chance that he would be identified. However, since Ozymandias was someone with a peculiar appearance he took a cap and put it on, along with his clothes to leave.

Then Alice spoke to him through [Telepathy].

"Ozymandias, turn left and walk along the sidewalk for five blocks before turning right and walking about ten blocks. You will be able to see the airport from there. Stay in a store somewhere so that the guards around the group of wizards cannot spot you. I will contact you when they start to leave. From there, you will have to follow them until they reach their destination, following them instead of using my [Paradise Vision], since Campione's instinct to recognize when someone is watching them from afar through magic is very acute."

"Got it"

After answering, the Sun King quickly headed to the airport.
