Strongest in DxD - Chapter 7

"Nice to meet you Ddraig" said Ren smiling.

[So you were the one who replaced my original partner] said Ddraig seriously.

Ddraig was always with his original partner, he could even see a little of what Issei saw but it was little due to his host being very weak so Ddraig spent most of his time sleeping.

Ddraig was rather sad that his host was so weak, because of that they would likely lose to Albion when they found him.

But Ddraig had felt an energy take him from Issei's body and put him in another.

Ddraig had been instantly awakened by the surge of power he'd felt coursing through his body.

Honestly Ddraig was scared that such a power belonged to a human, after all Ddraig felt the nature of Ren.

"Yes, my name is Ren Katsuo, although you probably already know it," Ren said calmly.

[Actually] said Ddraig because the first thing he did when he woke up in this new body was see Ren's memories.

Ddraig immensely surprised by the memory of the man in front of him and even more so that he owned four Longinus and three were of high standing.

"So there's no point in meaningless conversations, do you accept to fight by my side Ddraig?" asked Ren smiling.

Ddraig paused for a moment before answering.

[I refuse] said Ddraig firmly.

Ren narrowed his eyes at that.

"Why?" asked Ren.

[That plan of yours will only bring death and destruction to everyone] said Ddraig as he narrowed his eyes.

Ren chuckled for a moment.

"Please Ddraig you've done a lot worse things while fighting Albion," said Ren smiling.

[My battle with Albion is necessary, it is our destiny] said Ddraig seriously.

"So help me and I promise victory against Albion and revenge against the Factions that sealed him," Ren said in a friendly tone.

[I refuse. You are not worthy to wear the Boosted Gear] said Ddraig seriously.

Ren narrowed his eyes dangerously.

"So Issei Hyoudou was?"

[He was better than you. You will only bring death and destruction to the whole world, the world doesn't need that, it doesn't deserve your petty revenge] said Ddraig seriously.

Ren narrowed his eyes as a black aura covered his body.

"So my family deserved that?! They deserved to die for their greed?!" yells Ren as his power manifests.

In the face of Ddraig's perplexity, the whole environment began to change.

Where Ddraig was there were still the flames burning but where Ren was everything had been enveloped in an immense endless darkness that frightened the Celestial Dragon.

[What is that?! What is this aura so dense and frightening?! Is he really human?!] Ddraig questioned himself as he had never felt such a dark and evil aura.

[That's my decision] yells Ddraig as he increases his power.

"If you're not going to do it for good, it will be for bad," Ren said as he looked up.

When Ren looked at Ddraig his eyes were no longer their normal blue color.

They were a bright red color with several black markings around them.

It was the [Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan].

Ddraig, knowing the danger in those eyes, tried to advance but it was too late.

"Kotoamatsukami" said Ren fixing his eyes on Ddraig's.

For a moment Ddraig's emerald eyes took on the same color and pattern as Ren's before Ddraig dropped to the ground in a faint.

Since Ddraig wasn't going to help, he'd be forced to.

Ren used his Kotoamatsukami to rewrite Ddraig's memory making him forget all about Issei and think he's been with Ren since the boy awakened him as a child, thus making Ddraig see Ren as his partner and friend.

Ren sighed at the sight of the unconscious Celestial Dragon.

Nothing was going to stop him from taking his revenge.

And the three Faction don't even know what awaits them.

Right after Ren had talked to Ddraig the reincarnated human had gone to sleep with his plan for the other day done.

When Ren woke up he talked to Ddraig who seemed to be fully willing to lend his power to Ren to fulfill his plan.

Right after that Ren headed to school as usual, the day passed without any unusual occurrences.

During the break Ren was sitting calmly in his chair as he prepared for the break, but stopped when two people stopped in front of him.

The first was a beautiful young woman with white skin, blue eyes and a plump figure. Her most striking feature is her long, beautiful red hair that she also inherited from her father, which runs down to her thighs with a single lock of hair (known in Japan as ahoge) sticking out of the top. Her hair also has a loose bang covering her forehead and side bangs framing her face.

It was Rias Gremory one of the two Academy Kuoh Onee-samas.

The second was young with a voluptuous figure, very long black hair and violet eyes. Her hair is usually tied back in a long ponytail, reaching down to her legs with two strands sticking out of the top and slanting back, with an orange ribbon holding it in place.

Like most Kuoh Academy girls, she wears the usual Kuoh Academy girls' school uniform, along with black socks up to her calf.

It was Akeno Himejima another of the Onee-samas from the Academy Kuoh.

Ren turned his eyes to Rias who blushed a little at the intensity he looked at her.

"Do you need something, Gremory-san?" asked Ban calmly.

Rias nodded his head before starting to speak, "I'd like to know if you'd mind going to the Occult Research Club after class?" asked Rias making all the students turn their gaze to her.

Ren smiled a little: "No problem, after class I'll be there" Ren said calmly making Rias smile and walk away.

Right after classes ended Ren was calmly arranging his materials back in his bag, Ren's concentration was taken away by screams from all the girls in the class making him turn his gaze to the door.

At the door Ren saw a handsome young man with short blond hair, blue eyes (blue-gray eyes in the anime) and a wart under his left eye.

He wears the Kuoh Academy boys' school uniform, which consists of a black blazer with white accents over a long-sleeved white shirt with a black ribbon at the collar, matching black pants and brown dress shoes.

He was Yuuto Kiba the Prince of the Academy Kuoh and the [Knight] of Rias Gremory.

"Excuse me, is Ren-senpai here?" asked Kiba making everyone turn their gaze to Ren.

"Rias Gremory asked me to bring you to the Occult Club" said Kiba making Ren wave and follow him while all the girls screamed with joy at seeing the two princes together.
