Strongest in DxD - Chapter 69

Ren only smiled further irritating everyone in the room.

"So let me ask you; do you have spies in every faction?" asked Azazel drawing everyone's attention.

If Ren really had an ability like that it would mean that no Faction was safe, he could have spies and infiltrators in all of them.

"Who knows…" Ren replied mysteriously.

Sighing, Azazel looked at Ren.

"You won't give up your revenge, will you?" asked Azazel.

Ren just looked surprised.

"It's like I said, I'm the monster you made me to be, don't blame me for your mistakes Archangel of Doom" said Ren mockingly.

Azazel only squinted his eyes at the mention of the name he was called while he still had his white wings.

"I know the Three Factions and the Supernatural beings are not correct, we have done many horrible things throughout our existence, but what you are doing is no different, so I cannot allow it to continue" replied Azazel seriously while a black aura was beginning to seep from their bodies.

As everyone rose and increased their auras, Ren only sighed.

"There was never another option Azazel, this world is already doomed," Ren replied calmly.

"Do you really think you can beat us alone?" asked Azazel as everyone in the room increased their powers.

Azazel gained a black aura and Kokabiel a golden one, Barakiel an electric aura, Serafall an ice blue aura, Gabriel an aura of light and Dulio and Vasco increased their powers as well as Siegfried and Jeanne.

Ren just chuckled as his Sacred Lance glowed slightly.

Everyone braced themselves, but Ren's smile only widened.

"That's where you're wrong Azazel, I've never been alone" said Ren smiling.

The Ruler of the Fallen Angels eyes looked up in doubt before he widened his eyes.

"Barriers!" shouted Azazel getting everyone's attention.

But it was already too late.

Before they could react, an immense amount of power slammed into the room generating an immense explosion that sent the entire building flying.

An intense wave of dust emerged from the explosion, the entire building that used to take place the meeting of the Three Factions was totally destroyed by the immense attack.

As the dust settled a small golden aura was revealed which soon expanded sending all the dust away.

When the dust disappeared it was revealed that a huge golden barrier was around all the leaders of the Three Factions, and its source was Gabriel who was standing in the center of them.

The golden barrier surrounded everyone who had previously been inside the meeting room, everyone was protected by the barrier of the strongest woman in heaven.

"You saved us Lady Gabriel," Dulio said, laughing as everyone contemplated the power the woman wielded.

Gabriel was the first to witness the attack coming thanks to his abilities, in some stories Gabriel is the "Angel of Death" alongside his brother Azrael.

That's why she had the ability to sense someone's death, and during the meeting, just before the attack, she felt the death of Siegfried and Jeanne, who due to the power of the attack it was possible for both to die.

Although her ability to sense someone's death wasn't as strong as her brother Azrael's, she could only sense it within a few seconds or minutes at most, no more.

So she was able to use her power to create a barrier to defend all leaders and subordinates.

"Your reactions are as quick as ever," grumbled Azazel getting to his feet.

He knew he couldn't be carried away by appearances, although Gabriel was considered the kindest and kindest of Angels she is called "The Strongest Woman in Heaven" for a reason.

Even the Original Lucifer was afraid to face Gabriel in battle.

"Tsk, being saved by Gabriel, how could I fall so low" muttered Serafall to herself.

Meanwhile everyone was thinking about how Serafall really hated Gabriel to say something like that even in this situation.

"Get ready" warned Azazel as everyone increased their power and Gabriel unraveled his barrier.

"Wait" said Dulio, calling everyone's attention: "Where are the guards?"

Everyone quickly looked around and saw that no living souls were in the place besides them, and it was odd that each of the Three Factions had brought their own guards.

One part of them was defending outside the barrier while the other was defending the inside, and it was strange that there was no one.

"They're taking a one-way ride to [Dimensional Rift]"

Everyone quickly turned to the attention of the voice, and from behind a strange purple mist, Ren appeared, accompanied by five women.

Okita and Arturia were on Ren's left side while Joan, Gilgamesh and Scathach were on his right side, each standing with a look of pure indifference.

Everyone's eyes widened as they felt the immense power that emanated from the Sacred Lance wielder's companions.

"Lucky bastard, how lucky he is to have this harem," Azazel remarked, stirring with envy.

Meanwhile, everyone was wondering how he could say something like that in this situation.

"Did you send the guards to [Dimensional Rift]?" asked Siegfried perplexed, drawing everyone's attention.

"Like?" Jeanne asked not understanding.

Ren only raised his left hand and from it came a small amount of purple mist to everyone's surprise.

"This fog must have power to transfer to territories. [Dimension Lost]'s fog can transfer everything it touches...... Being able to transfer me and so many others at once to another place without the Lesser of the signs... A really scary Longinus," said Azazel as he narrowed his eyes.

"Well, let's get started," Ren said as he took a few steps forward.

Instantly, all members of the Three Factions increased their powers and prepared for battle.

"Be careful with his spear, especially you Serafall, for being a Demon a blow from the Holy Lance would be fatal" said Azazel alertly and everyone agreed.

Ren blinked in surprise before laughing to everyone's surprise.

"Don't worry, I won't use my spear against you, that would be too much, after all you are weak" said Ren with indifference: "I'll use something more interesting"

By the time he finished his speech the Sacred Lance in Ren's right hand glowed and shattered into dozens of small spheres of light before disappearing.

Then from Ren's back emerged two large white wings with four "feathers" of light each that glowed a blue color.

Everyone's eyes, especially Azazel, widened when they saw the wings.

"Th-th-that" stammered Azazel not believing what he was seeing.

He couldn't believe that this was why Vali had disappeared all these days, he thought that young Lucifer had just found an interesting opponent.

"This is the [Divine Dividing], one of the Thirteen Longinus where the soul of Albion the Vanishing Dragon is located, it originally belonged to Vali Lucifer, a descendant of the original Lucifer and the adopted son of Azazel" explained Ren calmly.

Everyone's eyes widened at what they heard mostly about the part of their descendant of Lucifer and adopted son of Azazel.

"He and I had a date these days and I ended up killing him and taking me this Sacred Gear," Ren said smiling.

Slowly a black aura began to form around Azazel, drawing everyone's attention.

"Damn you!!" The Leader of the Fallen Angels roared with rage at his son's death.

Vali might be a rebellious teenager, but Azazel still considered him his son, and knowing his killer was in front of him, along with all the things Ren did, made the former Archangel of Doom lose his temper.

Comments

Such a hypocrite. They can kill anyone but the mc canon of kill their allies? So in the end, only power matters the most in this world.
