Wednesday Stream Archive 9/19/2019

Here be the archive for this week. I started out doing poses from reference like I told myself I would, got heinously bored, and ended up trying out a sort-of-new method of sketching where I ink and shade simultaneously. It takes way longer (or possibly I'm not used to it yet). which may be an advantage - it forces me to slow down and think about what I'm doing. Or, I subconsciously picked easier images because I felt like I was out of my comfort zone. Or, the method itself is better. Whatever the reason, I feel like the couple images I managed to make with it have better lines *and* better shading than I usually have. Or maybe not! Either way, here they are.

Comments

No one asked specifically, I just personally thought that the image looked unusual when separated by layers like this and thought I'd provide all available versions for kicks. Like, this way I can compare my inks to inks when not doing it this way, or try to evaluate how close to a painting the shading was relative to the normal way I do it, that sort of thing.Good for personal future reference. And as always, glad to hear the breakdown, thanks!

Argh! stupid patreon with stupid "enter" rules! GoodTimeGirl - 😈😈😈 yeeeesss. only thing i'm not sure about it's her hoof... buuut... meh. lines & paint of the above - interesting that you provided these, anybody asking you? refposes - wait... what?! Not lewdified?!?! who drew this and why it's in this archive from Graphie?!?! πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ just kidding, great reference studies. Especially like their expressions which seem to be clashing with their poses... and end up enhancing them by recontextualizing. πŸ˜‚ tribute - ah, yes now i recognize you again. πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ Just kidding. Still great stuff. lines & paint of the above - yep I guess people were asking for layers to learn a bit. πŸ€”πŸ‘
