We will be premiering her full interview for the public later today, and hope you'll stop by to share your support for kate in chat and in comments. 6PM pacific/9PM eastern at https://youtu.be/Pqp70ta63nQ

Not sure if you will see this or not, but is it a coincidence that Lori Vallow and Dee Dee Blanchard were both “beauty queens”? Is factitious disorder over represented in former “beauty queens”?

2024-01-23 02:30:40 +0000 UTCThank you for having Kate on your show. I saw her TikToc last week and was shocked at the response. As a Dr. John and Lauren fan I of course am fascinated by "the pscyh" of it all but I much prefer Kate's intentions and the things that she wants to do over the post conviction tour of GL. Go Kate!

2024-01-22 01:33:27 +0000 UTCWhat are the ramifications , challenges and struggles that Kate and others have after experiencing such a level of trauma? I mean, how much therapy does one need to live a good mindset life?

2024-01-21 02:06:24 +0000 UTCI will never understand mothers inflicting pain on their babies.

2024-01-21 01:59:11 +0000 UTCThank you Kate for sharing! I am so sorry for all that you and your sister went through:) You have such a beautiful and courageous spirit:) Love you sweet girl ❤️! You did the right thing to stop having a relationship with her! You have left an impression on my heart! You are not a Gypsy Rose! Keep talking, I hope you can have your own YouTube channel someday. You need to keep sharing your story ! I am so sorry that the medical field let you down with the unnecessary amputation.

2024-01-21 01:55:45 +0000 UTCP.S. The podcast I mention above tells of investigators & mothers who actually have gone to prison. (It's such a long and hard road tho!)

2024-01-21 01:35:23 +0000 UTCHey Everyone--There's a podcast/podcaster that I listened to quite a lot (starting in 2022). She has a close family connection (her sister she felt was perpetrator) to Munchausen's. She then delved into the Maya K case--(I missed that one)....but you may find her knowledgeable and interesting. "Nobody Should Believe Me" **Thank you so much for this!! I hope we can all figure out better ways to help in these cases.

2024-01-21 01:23:53 +0000 UTCI believe her! And commend her for her strength honesty and insight - her urge to help others be believed and asking professionals to report even in doubt - to make a safe space for people to disclose. Kate has obviously put slot of thought into practical solutions and areas where more is required. Gypsy seems to just want a charity or to advocate but isn’t doing that- it appears to be superficial talk or some facade of a hero she wants to create. Kate on the other hand has a detail list of specific needs. And is present on a community of others with similar stories. Not wanting the limelight on themselves, just wanting the attention on the condition and raising awareness to help and prevent other victims.

2024-01-21 00:29:31 +0000 UTCI wondered if when the sister was there the pressure was off Kate and focus was more on her.

2024-01-21 00:23:03 +0000 UTCSo sad ! What a sweet and amazing girl ! The difference between her and Gypsy is she didn’t have her Mom killed. Kate is smart to go no contact with her Mom. And now she has a daughter to protect. Her pictures and her medical documentation are very powerful, plus the fact that it was done to her sister as well. I believe her !
