The journalists from VICE wanted resources for some background info on the type of people who follow OUR, and I think you two would probably have GREAT info for them, I emailed them your website, and told them you covered the Vallow/Daybell case thoroughly so you have great info, etc. Anyway, sorry for the novel, a few other podcasts doing good coverage on this episode are QAA (q anon anonymous- they cover the story from a conspiracy theory research angle, which is slightly different than the religious perspective from most others who have covered this story in depth), Nuance Hoe, of course Mormon Stories, and Lynn Kenneth Packer also are doing great coverage.

I don’t think people realise what they’re doing when they’re hating on this. We as a society need journalists who are not afraid to publish pieces/material that show faults in the system. The things that he and Dick Harpootlian have done before, during and after the trial are disgusting. To have a back channel to these people, honestly, you should both too ashamed to admit it. Neither one of them would know the truth if it bit them on their lying asses. Jim and Dick failed to have their phone calls excluded. All they had to do was file a damn form and they couldn't even do that for Alex. Do you have any idea how ridiculous it is that Jim is fussing about corruption based on the shitbag he is defending? They are both morons and failed to do the most basic things for their murderous client. I have been a supporter, but honestly, if you have either one of these dirtbags on your podcast, I am done. Giving him and his lies oxygen makes him seem legitimate and you should be above that garbage. You are not unethical for releasing his stupid phone call, but you will be unethical having him on your podcast. Do better, please.

I worked in a law office a while back, and a defense attorney worked in the same office, I didn't like his clients, but he sure helped me when I needed him, AND might I add, he did it for free. Our system is built to protect our rights, get us the best deals, and try to make the parties whole. It seems to me everyone did their job correctly.

I did see a video of Ruby’s Mother babysitting while Kevin and Ruby were on vacation. She went on and on about how she had to because Ruby helped her when she was a child with her siblings. Wow! These Families with so many kids that are so dysfunctional.

Both of you work very hard to present truth and balance on what you present. You raise awareness and invite your listeners to be curious without judgment. I appreciate what you both bring to "Hidden True Crime" from your respective professions. Keep doing the great work and ignore some of the ridiculous uninformed haters that have misplaced anger to the messenger. "Hidden True Crime" is one of the few channels that I recommend to people.
