AD-FREE PATREON EPISODE- ADAM COX INTERVIEW #LORI DAYBELL

Comments

Correction - I meant Adam not Brandon ☺️

Jody Adams

I would like to give Brandon and Rex the benefit of the doubt. Their family have been through the unthinkable. Anyone who has covered this case prosecuted this case defended this case reported this case or watched this case have contributed to money being made from this tragedy. This family has a lot of healing to do and I give them a thumbs up for sharing their unimaginable journey with us. Maybe as they begin to heal the rest of us can work on that too

Jody Adams

Adam comes across as traumatized. Found it interesting in how he felt cut out from his family's inner circle. THANKS for the interview. Still to me his account has some self-delusion and/or revisionism thoughts. The Uncle seems to be doing damage control for the family and is thus a bit biased and off the mark. I think the cousin Meghan (spelling?) is closer when she saw Lori having problems much earlier than before Chad. Lori seems more crazy then religious. How does a Mormon not wearing temple clothing and not qualifying for a Temple recommend without resorting to a ty0oe of blackmail get called religious? Doesn't seem right or fair to other Mormons. (I'm not Mormon BTW)

Hi Lizzy — Annie doesn’t have any recent videos about Adam but she has two new posts on her “A Murderous Heart” community page from the past couple of days. She is waiting until Adam posts his complete podcast series/new book until she responds fully in video format but, basically, she feels that he is being untruthful about his actions and she is very upset that he is trying to profit from it (and that there is no pushback from the journalists who are reporting on this case about the inconsistencies in his story.) She outlines some of her specific concerns in her posts. HTH!

Shannon Farrey

Her uncle. Megan’s dad is Rex’s brother

Lauren and John Matthias

These replies are so interesting. Potential hidden motives

Lizzy

Hi Shannon, I can't find any YouTube video from Annie Cushing except ones dated in 2022. Would you be able to tell me which one speaks about Adam, please? Thank you, Lizzy

Lizzy

Annie Analytics has some strong feelings about Adam and his (alleged) revisionist history.

Mormons are well known for being entrepreneurs and I see Alex and Rex although seeming sincere see the whole mess as a business opportunity.

@Teejay

Mormons are known for being entrepreneurs and this is now their new business opportunity and they will milk it for all it’s worth, watch this space but I doubt we will hear anything new they will still keep everyone on a need to know basis just giving the public enough to pique their interest .I think many secrets will stay buried especially the truth about Barry .

@Teejay

That sounds about right for Barry but he can’t hide forever

@Teejay

Apparently Barry told Leah Sottile that he would not agree to do an interview for her book “When the Moon Turns to Blood: Lori Vallow, Chad Daybell, and a Story of Murder, Wild Faith, and End Times” unless he was paid a very large sum of money.

“I was fired, lost everything, dealt with depression, and still came out on top!" Just FYI, this is on the blurb from Adam Cox’s book ‘My Crazy Radio’ life which is for sale on Amazon and Audible. It seems clear that Adam is engaged in some revisionist history both in these round of interviews and on the first podcast episode. In terms of his experience with depression, either he was lying in his first book or he was being less than truthful to Dr. John in your recent interview and not just about depression but also about the facts of the case. Check out Annie Cushing’s YouTube channel for her thoughts on this matter.

I also find it interesting that Adam's story about young Tylee being a 'fireball' was just about her asserting physical boundaries, which he promptly violates in the story by doing the things she just asked him not to do (kissing her again). I have a 4yo girl and I support her to have autonomy over her own body. I mean this story kind of aligns with what we think we know about the Cox family, and with what Megan said about how kids in that family were expected to not have boundaries. Overall I found Megan to be a far, FAR more authentic, open and insightful.

Thank you for this!

Hm, I found this really frustrating to listen to. Their answers seemed quite vague and circular and just ... unsatisfying. My overall takeaway is that they did this interview to get listeners for their podcast and were perhaps deliberately *not* revealing much interesting here. Or perhaps they just don't have a great deal of insight in the end? Rex's answer about Megan's interview was kind of odd and I'm not at all sure I believe it. Hmmm.

Wonderful interview!!

There are no Acts of God with Chad and Lori Daybell, in the sense of the term as used in insurance plans. Nor was anything in their lives a happy accident. She, Chad and Alex had murder in their hearts. There is no way they didn’t kill Joe Ryan, too.

Mary Hatchet

Her uncle. Janis is eldest then Cliff (Megan’s father), Teresa, and Rex is the youngest. I had the same question so I listened to a few podcasts interviewing Megan abt her fam.

Manisha R.

So is Rex Megan Connor's dad, or her uncle?

caitlin whiteman

I have been astounded that Barry Cox as the head of the household has never spoken on behalf of his family.
