Casual convo with Dr John and Lauren -thoughts on Chad's books

This is Lauren. We received a request for more impromptu, less-edited conversations at the dinner table. Last night, after our son was in bed, John and I started talking about Chad's books. I took out my phone and voice-recorded for nearly 15 minutes. This is completely unedited, and on a whim.

John is reading Chad's books again. After researching this case for so long, it's been interesting to go back and revisit a lot of Chad's writings. This is what sparked this conversation.

Hope you do get these comments on older posts. Just signed up on Patreon today (well yesterday since it’s after midnight lol) and I have to say I really enjoyed the relaxed byplay of conversation between the two of you, especially at the end. Because of some jumping around I did on your YT stuff earlier I listened to a lot of “portal” talk (I promise to stay safe and always wear a helmet!), and hearing your talk here just really cracked me up. I have a feeling portals have become quite the topic of convo in your lives and probably will be for many years to come! I hope I find you’ve kept the impromptu unscripted stuff coming!

What if I want a bright blue or bold red one? Would Chad and co kick me out of the tent community? This is a mote point. I don’t have any food storage and am the wrong kind of Christian.

I think quoting the research papers sort of slow down your conversations, since I’m not in grad school any longer I don’t put that much importance on the research behind Dr. John’s conclusions. I know he’s got the receipts! I will listen to anything that you two bring forth.
