I understand, I understand! Thank you for the feedback. I really want to find a middle ground between the two. Clearly, the style I've developed so far is here to stay, but this new one gives me many design advantages that make me enjoy creating oppais much more than the previous one. My process includes sketching (very basic, but sketching nonetheless) the scene in general before the AI takes over, and excluding the line art (which is the big difference between the two styles) makes my life a lot easier. Plus, I love how it looks. But yes, I want to get the best of both styles. The only thing that is certain is that this new style is the one I will continue to use in the visual novel I am currently developing :3
