Syllabus: The Multiple Shift

This month, we're going to learn techniques that allow you to control multiple cards all at once. For example, you'll be able to insert the aces into different parts of the deck, and with one cut or shuffle, bring all of them to the top. While there are many multiple shifts in the literature, there are only 2-3 of them that you'll ever end up using, and those are what I cover here. Specifically, they are: the Hindu shuffle multiple shift, the swing cut multiple shift (also known as the Neal Elias multiple shift) and the Nash multiple shift. We have already learned some techniques capable of approximating a multiple shift, and I discuss those in the context of a multiple card control as well.

This coming week, we'll learn the "practice" of these multiple shift techniques.

The subsequent week, we'll learn the "theory" behind these multiple shift techniques.

The final week of the month, I'll hold a members only livestream where you can ask questions about this trick or any of the previous techniques in the course. If you attend, you may be able to ask a question over video where you can demonstrate the issue you're struggling with on camera and I will provide feedback in real time.
