Hii!...I left two Sims together for 4 days but Soulmate does not activate, and I buy the potion but when I make them drink the potion it is not seen (they are holding something invisible in their hands) and the characters freeze (they do not drink and look into space) and I can not take the potion from their hands.👋🏻👐🏻

Hello! Soooo I just wanted to let you know! I think I found a bug, which is I downloaded this mod like today. When I put it in, my sims, who were already married with someone and love them very much randomly found „the one“ with a random. Is this a bug? Is there anything you can do?

heyy uhm i keep having the issue that all sims i load into the game have the buff of being happy because theyre around their soulmate?? but theyre not? n some of them dont even have romantic relationships at all? n it still shows even if they dont have the soulmates relationshit bit

Hey so not 100% sure if this is a bug but figured I'd let you know. I've tried multiple saves with multiple sims and every single time my sims find their soulmate the soulmates are married. I don't know if it's just coincidence.

I absolutely love this mod, don't wanna play without it. I'm seeing some weirdness with the latest version though. My sims are swapping soulmates constantly. Example: I had one sim soulmate with Kyle Kylsone. A few days later, he soulmated with his existing partner. A few hours after that, he met and soulmated with Caleb Vatore completely cancelling out the existing soulmate for a second time. I do have a number of other mods, but this doesn't seem like a conflict.

I noticed the newest update keeps resetting the soulmate status in the profile of my sims by notifying me of 'love in unexpected places' or 'they had known each other for a while' in the panel during a continuous conversation each visit. That status also gets overwritten/deleted when talking to another sim who then becomes their soulmate instead.

Have you found a way to do this? Seen the description of the mod I was thinking of giving sims I want to be soulmates at least exactly the same traits and to see if I can get them in the same mood at the same time? Perhaps that would help?

Since the last update, I can't find the cheat to make Sims soulmates. I thought it was in the Debug menu (i.e. when you Shift-Click a Sim), but perhaps I am not remembering correctly?

I'm just a little confused I remember in V2.3. i had 3 files The three files I had for V2.3 Which was two package files and one script file. JS_Soulmates_rewardpotions JS_Soulmates_Script JS_Soulmates_tuning And in V2.4 there only 2 files which are Package files. JS_Soulmates_MAIN_v2.4 JS_Soulmates_rewardpotions Is the script file no longer needed?

It is a cheat. Shift+click on a sim and select 'make soulmates' and it will make your currently and the selected sim become soulmates. I'm not sure if it gets rid of the first soulmate. You may need to activate cheats with 'testingcheats true' via ctrl+shift+c'

Thanks for the mod! After the last update of the mod, there was a problem with Sims who are attracted to the opposite sex and experiments with orientation were disabled. When talking to Sims of the same gender, the buff appears that you have found love with them, but this does not happen with the opposite gender. Previously, the buff only occurred with the opposite gender.

Hi, thank you for letting me know. Did the romantic options greying out appear when you installed the new version of the mod? It shouldn't interfere with any in game interactions because it's entirely separate... I'd love to know more details if you could send me a direct message.

Hi there so the updated soulmate works but only for one of my sims orientation preference. My female who is attracted to the opposite sex has her romantic options greyed out when I click on her husband. The husband whose romantic and sexual orientation is for people of his own sex has all if his romantic options towards his wife active. Does this mean the orientation bug has not been resolved?

Since the last update, I've been using the mod since before, it's claiming that the twin always goes to the first sim I find, before it wasn't like that, I remember there were sims that took a while to find or never found at all. Other than that, what irritates me the most is that notifications are appearing from ALL sims in the world about soulmates, sims that I have never seen in my life and that didn't happen before.

Random question; is there a way to make it harder to find a soulmate? Any time my sim meets some one for the first time, they automatically become soulmates. It happens with any sim every time. Even with saves who already have a spouse and I just added the mod. the very next time they interact with some one outside their home they become soulmates, regardless of preferances.

I like the idea and the mod. Your work is amazing. But every time I play with it, it starts directly at the first Sim that my Sim speaks to. I've tried several things. Or maybe that's really due to the properties? Played with the horse ranch pack and some sims have the same traits as horse lovers and ranchers. I also tried vampires. Same result regardless of the traits. i thought it is random?

Hi - thank you so much for reaching out. Let me look into those bugs now. Soulmates definitely should take into account gender preferences. You should first learn who the Soulmate is from a notification that appears when they are assigned, and afterwards it is visible in the relationship panel.

I really like this mod. However, how do I find out WHO the soulmate is if I didn't see who was around when the soulmate buff appeared? Also, in one situation I found the 'soulmate' was of the same sex, even though they BOTH are only attracted by the OPPOSITE sex. This makes no sense. The sexual orientation of characters should come into play, not just their common traits....
