The bulk of my time this week was spent on finishing up the Secret Occults mod! I've added the ability to like and dislike different kinds of occult sims, and you can get special buffs from interacting with or being an occult you like/dislike.
I've also been working on two new aspirations: the Occult Enthusiast aspiration and the Occult Exposé aspiration. Completing the enthusiast aspiration has the benefit of learning all occult skills much faster and gaining relationship with other occults much faster. Completing the occult exposé aspiration adds occult knowledge to every sim in the game, and your sim was the one who discovered it! Of course, over time that knowledge may once again be forgotten, if you play with generations.
Gradual Aging
This week, I finally figured out how to make a mod I've been excited about for a long time - to have Sims gradually age from young adult to elder. The first step was finding the skin details that the game automatically adds to adult and elder sims, and then creating skin details which change opacity so you can see the skin age and fade in over time.
The next step is to add a script to apply the skin details when sims reach a certain place in their lifespan!
Sidesaddle Mod
I'm still chugging along on the animations for this one and should be done very soon. Here is what the walk cycle looks like:
