Pacific Northwest Elves: What’s New @ the Table

You rolled INFP. Last week we dropped the first worldbuilding episode for our new season, Perpetua, in the main feed as well as streaming it on Twitch with some bonus merch drops for folks who joined us in the audience. These “prelude” episodes feature classic map-drawing and guy-making aplenty, and sooooo many middle-aged elf men.

“The place that Oppenheimer takes place.” We’ve also got a new episode of Media Club Plus covering Hunter x Hunter episodes 122 through 124. Don’t miss the accompanying screencap gallery as well. I don’t go here, but I’ve gotta say seeing the colour palette shift in this show over time has been wild.

$200 and my hard-earned milk. Ali’s learning some harsh economic lessons in Fields of Mistria as she continues on with spring. You can watch her stream from last “Mmmsneksefmsef” day on Twitch, and also catch stream #18 from earlier this month now archived on YouTube

Keith is going to be scoring the game from now on. Sylvi and Keith did a little more Virtue’s Last Reward on Twitch last Friday. I’m starting to worry the titular reward isn’t going to be very nice at all...

Plonk! PLONK! Plonk! Jack and Austin’s very fun stream of Museum of All Things is now up on our YouTube channel. Go watch it, you will learn nothing or learn everything.

Bonus! Critical worldbuilding, smart characterization, and fun interactions with Richard Kind. None of us anticipated the trouble we were going to cause to Google’s [already nearly useless] AI Overview feature when we released an episode with two characters inspired by iconic That Guy, Richard Kind. Thanks to @reltastic.bsky.social‬ for letting us know about our new cast member.

Comments

I've always said that Richard Kind (known Friend at an aforementioned singular table), is a master of critical worldbuilding, smart characterization and fun interaction between good friends, and it's nice to see him finally getting the recognition he deserves.

Vulpes Valentine

I loved Richard’s work in the season finale of Palisade, truly emotionally resonant with the themes of the season.
