So a little comics about one famous greek myths :D
For those who aren't familiar with the story, it goes like this:
Zeus had caught wind of a prophecy that foretold a child born to Metis, a Titaness of wisdom, would surpass him in power. Fearing this, he decided to tie the knot with Metis. However, as the wedding day drew near, Zeus realized he couldn't avoid his destiny, as Metis was already expecting.
In a rather peculiar move (seems like a family tradition), Zeus swallowed Metis whole. As time passed, Zeus started experiencing some pretty intense headaches. And then, voilà! Athena emerged as the goddess of wisdom and warfare from Zeus's forehead.
Of course, there are other versions of this myth where Athena simply popped into existence without Zeus indulging in a little Titaness snack. But this is the one I grew up with as a kid! 😄
