Apologies to everyone for the long-ass wait. I realize it's been almost half a year since the last upload.

For reasons more personal than I care to go into I've been in a bit of an art slump over the last months, which I'm slowly peeling myself out of, but it's a slow and difficult process.

I can't promise weekly regular updates to Forest Tails yet, but there will at least be updates :b

"Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans."

I don't think this sentence has ever been more true to me than for the last five months. I said above I wont go into details, because of the personal nature of the events, but they have been pressing on me to the point where I was simply unable to focus on something as deeply involved as Forest Tails or anything relating to it.

Consequently I also did not get around to (even thinking of) restructuring the patreon, so it's going to remain as is for the time being, though I will resume work on that at the earliest opportunity aswell.

Something everyone should (hopefully) be excited to hear; I'm selling at Eurofurence this year.

My mate and friends finally loaded enough peer pressure on me to get a table and along with everything else that's happening, I'm in the process of producing artwork and materials to sell.

Aside from a soon to be online'd adult Maia comic that I'm hoping to get printed, I'm also looking at options and possibilities of getting Forest Tails ready for sales, at least in part. I realize there's only few of you who will actually get to go to EF (assuming it doesn't get cancelled entirely due to Corona), but once printed, there's no reason why it couldn't be sold separately either.

A question I was wondering about concerning a print version though:

My skills in art have obviously improved over the last 5 years I've been working on Forest Tails. I realize that the sketch-to-artwork progression is something of a novel thing for the web version, but I've been thinking of polishing up the old pages to the new standard, just to give it a little bit more of a homogenous look when it's in print.

Keeping in mind I will have to go back and rework the pages pre-100 anyway, to get them up to printing resolution, the less invasive thing that'll definitely happen is that I'm going to be applying the new speech bubbles to the old pages to improve readability (specifically for color blind people, but also overall).

Working them up to modern standard would obviously consume more time, but d'you think it's something that you would want me to invest time in? Picturing yourself being confronted with the print book as someone who has never had any contact with Forest Tails before, d'you think it'd sell better if I polished the early pages?

Let me know what you guys think :3
