As Celina’s Calling has grown, I’ve run into a challenge I didn’t fully anticipate: piracy. Maybe that’s on me, given the space I’m working in (an adult game, promoted in places like F95Zone), but it’s still frustrating to see.
The biggest incentive I offer for supporters is early access to new game builds, and when subscriber-only builds get shared ahead of time, it makes it harder to continue growing. Over the past couple weeks I’ve noticed a bit of stagnation, and this is my main guess as to why. Unfortunately, the F95 mods don’t seem too interested in helping creators like me combat this issue.
So I have a request: if you’re subscribing and receiving the subscriber-only builds, please keep them for yourself and avoid sharing them online. It goes a long way toward helping me keep this project sustainable.
I also want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported and stuck with me these first few months. You are the reason I’m able to keep working on this, and I want to continue finding ways to provide value and give back to you as much as I can.
Finally, I want to stress that I’m not deterred by these challenges. I’m moving forward, learning as I go, and determined to keep improving both the game and the experience for supporters. If anyone has ideas on how I can get Celina’s Calling in front of more people—or on how I can make subscribing more worthwhile—I’d love to hear them.
Thanks again for everything. I truly mean it.
