1st: 7945HX3D vs 7945HX vs 13980HX in 25 games & apps
I won't be filming the Q&A until tomorrow, so if you have questions get them into Discord in the new #questions-for-qna-only channel.
The 7945HX3D testing is taking a long time. I already did 7945HX vs 13980HX in 25 games but it was 4-5 months ago, and I was able to get both laptops back in so refreshing all the results is taking some time.
Due to that, reviews have been on pause for a week. The Alienware x16 and Dell G16 are ready for me to start, but that may not be until either late next week or early next week. Otherwise the HP Victus is also underway.
The Helios 18 we received last week needs to get sent back. It instantly thermal throttles and the RTX 4080, which should be a full powered 175W, runs at 90W instantly. Guessing there is something seriously wrong with our unit, so we stopped testing as soon as we realized there was a problem.
I'm considering buying a Legion Slim 5i. It would be perfect to do a mid-range Intel vs AMD comparison between the 13700H and 7840HS, but probably not worth buying just to make that video, so I'll think about it. It has a decent sale with the Intel gamer days sale for a few more days. Trying to see if I can borrow it from Lenovo, but they haven't responded to me in a week, so buying it might be the only way I'll ever fairly get to compare those.
