The bonus video is because we had some sponsors want advertising around Prime day, but regardless I think it's still a great video.
We were able to get the RX 6800M 12GB back after 2 years for some retesting. The 6800M revisit tests 24 games at 4K, 1440p and 1080p and sees where it's worth buying an older 12GB VRAM gaming laptop compared to newer more expensive 8GB options.
The Gigabyte G5 review is finally done too! That was on hold for a few weeks while they released a BIOS update to fix some performance problems we reported.
The 4070 vs 4080 comparison is very interesting. Long story short, I think the 4080 is worth paying more money for and you'll see why in that one.
Otherwise we've started testing the ASUS Zephyrus G14 today, which arrived late last week. We're also getting into some RTX 2050 testing for an upcoming comparison with the 3050.
The Razer Blade 14 review is still on hold, I think we're meant to receive a replacement unit today sometime. Basically our RTX 4070 is limited to 80W instead of 100W for reasons unknown, probably to do with an early buggy sample.
I'm going to get into working on the review for the Legion Slim 7i today too, hoping to have that one ready for next week.
