Kinetic Chronicle 1st demo release

Hi, everyone ^^

Thank you so much for your support.

After working all night seem like I'm able to pull it out at last.

Here is the first demo of the game.

Currently the game only available in hard mode.

Anyways, since I'm afraid it would be too hard I would give it 9999 life point only for this version. (25 life point cost per respawn so effectively you would got around 400 life)


Somethings to mention

1. To break the grasp in this game you shake mouse instead of spam arrow keys.

The grasp will become harder to break overtime so try to break it as fast as possible


2. Move your mouse over the small rock to collect it. Feley can use them as a bullet.

I'm sorry, but That area is just need a little trick. This game is also have a puzzle element, so if there're somepoint that you can't pass it normally you just have to try the different ways. On that point you just have to drop yourself to grasp the ledge first then jump to the opposite one.

I don't know if it's an issue on my end, but I cannot get past the low ceiling area where you slowly climb upwards going left and right. Every single time I jump, I hit my head on the ceiling and am unable to make it to the other side of the ledge due to just poor platform placement. Is there a double jump button I'm missing or am I just stupid? I quit even trying to play it because of how obnoxious that one area is.

I think having the option of both would be cool to add at some point, it's more for the people who used the keys before and are more comfortable with that.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy our work. About the resist mechanic I try to make a different, since we're doing mouse control. But, if you think the arrow keys would be better, I'll try to make it switchable in option too, but it may take sometime to add and balance it. Anyways I'll do my best see you soon. ^^

Pretty much everything in the demo is very well done, my only complaint is that the resist mechanic is a bit awkward using the mouse, i think the left and right movement keys would work better just my opinion. Anyway keep up the good work :)

The jump after the first checkpoint is a little tricky... Assume that you want to jump from the left platform to the right platform. You have to drop yourself down and grasp on the edge of the left platform first, then jump again and get to the right. This way you'll not stuck with the upper platform. And also.... Thank you for playing. ^^

Really like the demo. I will say, the jumps after the first checkpoint in the room with the respawning slimes are a little frustrating though. Still, really enjoying it! I am looking forward to seeing your progress.
