We're Almost Ready to Launch! 😻 Weekly Catchup

Hey guys! Happy Friday! 🥳

The custom tissue paper Ushka and I ordered for Neko Neko Post arrived today! It's super cute, can't wait to start wrapping up our stationery goodies with it💖 We're waiting for two more orders of custom packaging to arrive now. It was recently Obon in Japan - a holiday for remembering your loved ones who have passed away - and during this time the entire country basically shuts down for about a week. So it's taking a little longer than it normally would've, starting a company in August probably wasn't the best idea😂 But it should be here any day now! 

We also commissioned some more artwork for the website (see above pics!) -  I think it's pretty much complete now! Just need to take a few more product photos, confirm which countries are accepting foreign mail, and I think we'll be good to go.  

This week I'm filming a week-in-my-life vlog for my channel, half-way through at the moment! So far Mark and I spent a day at the mall & I tried out the Wishtrend LED skincare mask. For the last half I'm heading back to Yamagata Prefecture to promote a farmstay in Tsuruoka where you can harvest soybeans! I'll probably pop down there a day or two earlier so I can say hi to Natsuki since his town is only 30 minutes away :) I'm hoping he'll have a space in his schedule for another hair treatment, my hair looked great after he did it last time! 

In other good news, it appears Japan might be getting ready to announce (hasn't been officially announced yet) they're finally letting foreigners with valid Japanese visas to leave and return back into the country. Unfortunately it looks like I still won't be able to get my cat(s) because upon return to Japan they require you to quarantine in a designated hotel for 14 days which I'm pretty certain won't allow animals :( But at least it's a step in the right direction. 

PS - I rewatched 10 Cloverfield Lane yesterday, quite a good movie if you're looking for something ~thrilling~ to watch :)
