Japan Lifts the State of Emergency & Shops Start to Reopen

As of yesterday, Japan officially lifted the state of emergency all across the country. Businesses are slowly starting to reopen with shortened hours of operation (Some of the tighter, crowded places such as bars and small restaurants are still choosing to stay closed). In most places we are required to wear a mask and sanitise our hands before entering, and seating is a lot more spread out than usual. I'm glad that everyone seems to be taking a cautious approach to going back outside, I hope we don't see a second wave of cases here.🙏

I know lots of you have upcoming Japan trips planned and are wondering if they can still happen! As for foreigners being able to enter Japan, unfortunately no updates have been made as of yet. I did read an article that estimated we may be able to travel again starting in August, but anything earlier isn't looking possible. I'll keep you guys updated if I hear any news!
I'm looking forward to getting back outside and filming some fun videos for you guys. I do like vlogging from home, but there's only so much I can handle haha. Once domestic travel is being encouraged again I'd love to head down to Chiba to visit some of my friends there, and maybe out to Sakata to catch up with Natsuki. Oh and definitely to Tokyo to get a much needed hair smoothing treatment as the humid summer weather is quickly approaching D;
And of course as soon as international travel is allowed I'll be off to Korea to see the cats😭I've been trying to stay positive about it, but honestly being forcefully stuck here and unable to go to Korea is really wearing me down and making me quite anxious - especially when sorting out the cat situation had be something I had been counting down the days to for over a year. Nothing I can do about it though so just gotta hang in there :(
