First of all, the time period is going to be modified for my pleasure, Ie, I like some things about later expansions, but not other things, and I really don't like Shadowlands, or BFA's war plot, though I do like Kul Tiras and Zandalar. Claire uses shadow magic, which draws off negative emotions, which will, in no way, worry the people she meets.
also, as you can see from the map of the Eastern Kingdom, this setting is BIG. Booty Bay is just over 1,000 KM from Fort Livingston. Your not going to run to Stormwind from Goldshire in a few minutes. (Note, Maps aren't mine). So Claire is going to have fun--and possibly be a bit older by the time she returns home--if she returns home, and hopefully won't have a reverb voice and a tendency to tell her friends to "suffer well."
