It’s been a while since I’ve shared a detailed development update, but today’s the day! I’m thrilled (and maybe a bit nervous) to bring you some serious progress and plans for Out of Puberty Chapter 1 - Reimagined. This project means the world to me—it’s where my journey as a developer began, and I’m determined to do it justice.
This update will be packed with information about what’s been done, what’s coming next, and what makes the upcoming version so exciting. Let’s dive right in!
Technical Jargon (Let’s get this out of the way!)
Main Menu: Created, polished, and fully functional with an integrated soundtrack. 🎵 You can find the music here.
Wallet System: Manage your funds by saving, withdrawing, and spending. It’s central to gameplay and will introduce strategic choices—do you save or spend to progress?
Walkthrough Framework: A built-in guide! It’s simple, accessible, and provides step-by-step help for completing objectives.
Stats Screen: Track Pearl’s progress and activities, from personal stats to gameplay milestones.
Gameplay Highlights
The Beginning: Start with age verification, enjoy a refreshed intro, and complete a quick tutorial that covers the UI.
Open World: Explore freely after the tutorial. Need guidance? Use Pearl’s in-game PC for walkthrough tips.
Jobs: Two jobs (Convenience Store and Café) are fully implemented, offering income-earning opportunities.
Corruption Levels: Pearl begins at Level 0. Gain corruption points to unlock higher levels and new scenes. Each level introduces exciting, unique content.

What’s Next?
My goal is to complete all Level 0 scenes and as many Level 1 scenes as possible before release. While I’d love to include both levels fully, I don’t want to keep you waiting too long! The target for release is Version 0.35, marking significant progress (approximately 25% of the full game).
