2024-10-09 15:22:23 +0000 UTCTo be fair to Hammer Films, Carmilla had been sexying up vampires since like 1870, so it was a rediscovery of a winning formula. Great review man! I wish there were more studios like Hammer around. Edit: According to the book the reason Carmilla keeps using those names is because that's her 'rule' as a vampire. Kind of a lottery on what kind of weakness they have and hers is always having to use an anagram of her name. Kind of a cool idea and would have been cool in something like Captain Kronos!
