2025-12-13 03:28:47 +0000 UTCI love Fishman Island! I do not know if it is the bias cause it is a fcking mermaid island! But the setting is beautiful. The message is very touching. Jinbei is there. The villain was a pushover but his character/backstory fits with the overall theme. I guess people hated it because it followed Sabaody/Impel/Marineford which were hype after hype after hype. Yes, it was dragging but so is almost every arc post time skip. The only thing I skip when I rewatch/watch along is Punk Hazzard. I do not watch OP for the fights so I was not really bummed with how easy/fast the villains are defeated.
