A few things I've read online that I think are pretty interesting: 1. Each kid basically behaves the way their mom act towards them 1.1 The way Shizuka (unknowingly (hopefully)) manipulates men like her mom 1.2 Marina calling Shizuka a "parasite" (her parents fave word) and just being abusive in general 1.3 Azuma calling Takopi useless (his mom's opinion of him) 2. As for what Azuma said to the police, peeps are in agreement that he must've still tried to take most of the blame on himself which is why the police think someone manipulated him to confess. His heart-to-heart with his bro was sweet but it wouldn't have been enough to tear him away from Shizuka. That being said, I really like how Shizuka went from being the tragic heroine type to basically the villain lol Love to see it.
