“Hey look guys Tanya is here to join the fun!”Kate called out when Tanya ran out of the tree line and stopped in front of the Cullen’s home. Tanya didn’t react to Kate’s statement even though she was beyond pissed. After the movie Irina asked Bella for copies of pictures from her life since she was baby. Initially Tanya thought Bella wouldn’t have many based on having horrible parents but that was not the case at all. Bella had a large box filled not only with pictures but mementos from her life. To include a completed baby book and different items that either Bella made or were related to important events in Bella’s life to include the hair from her first haircut and the first tooth she lost. Bella told them it was her maternal grandmother who was behind all of it. The woman dying when Bella was 12 years old. Tanya had been going through the box with Bella and her mate listening to Bella tell all the stories behind each picture and item until she got a text from Rosalie saying they needed help. So instead of having a bonding moment with her daughter learning about her life Tanya was standing in front of the Cullen’s home looking at the scene before her. That scene consisting of Emmet and Alice standing at the back of the moving truck with Edward who sported a face full of anger staring them down. Rosalie was on the porch with Esme the Cullen matriarch trying and failing to hide the fact she was just as angry as Edward and a completely unraveling Carlisle was standing in front of Kate and Garret. Carmen and Eleazar were hunting and Tanya had Victoria take her place to protect Bella with Irina.

“What the hell is going on here?”Tanya asked.

“What is going on here is you are trying to steal my coven members!!”Carlisle wasn’t going to lose any of them. Alice’s gift and Emmet’s strength were to valuable for him to lose and Rosalie was his link to getting Bella and Victoria in his coven.

“No one is stealing us you moron. We of our own free will are leaving your coven and joining theirs.”Rosalie really wanted to kill Carlisle but kept reminding herself why they had to wait. The only way to save Heidi would be to stay off the kings’ radar. Killing Carlisle would ruin everything.

“You were told you were not allowed to leave!”Edward wanted the others to stay for the same reasons Carlisle did. He hated to admit it but the coven needed them. There was no way he, Carlisle and Esme could protect themselves without them. Especially with how little money they had left to survive on.

“That’s not how life works Eddy boy. Carlisle and you don’t own us. We are not your slaves that you get to order around and we follow your every command.”Emmet was very excited to be leaving the Cullen coven and joining the Denali. It meant he didn’t have to play a role in Carlisle’s sick fantasy life anymore.

“I am your sire. That means by vampire law I do own you and you will..”Carlisle was cut off by Tanya.

“That is a complete lie. A sire is responsible for teaching their newborn the laws and how to not to be exposed in front of humans. They don’t own or have any control over those they change. There is no law claiming otherwise.”Tanya wasn’t going to let Carlisle lie to keep his former members.

Carlisle cursed himself for allowing the Denali at his home.”Law or not I have a claim on all of you and I’m not giving it up to anyone.”

“What claim is that Carlisle?”Tanya expected Carlisle to say something ridiculous.

“My claim on the three of them is I am their father. I am the one who has provided for them and taken care of them this whole time. As their father I forbid them from leaving.”Carlisle told her.

“From what we hear you can no longer provide for yourself let alone anyone else.”Kate still hadn’t gotten to thank Bella for stealing Carlisle’s money. The act caused a lot of chaos which Kate enjoyed very much.

“I found the hacker who took my money and already have made moves to get it back.”Carlisle lied. The original hacker he hired claimed the money never even touched the resort’s account and he had no clue where it went. When Carlisle asked for the name of another hacker that one had told him the same thing. He even complimented the thief and claimed they were best he had ever seen. He also claimed that Carlisle was never going to get his money back. Carlisle was going to try a few more hackers but he knew the money was gone.

Garret laughed.”You would have told everyone if that were true. That and you would have apologized to Esme and Edward for accusing them.”

“I did apologize to the pair.”Carlisle once again lied. He still wasn’t a hundred percent sure they didn’t do it.

“How come the three of us didn’t get apologies?”Alice also knew it was a lie because of the extremely large deposits made to her and Emmet’s account. Alice had thanked Bella for giving both of them their own shares and not just one combined because they were a couple.

“I hadn’t gotten the chance yet.”Carlisle put the best regretful look on his face and spoke.”I would like to apologize to the three of you for accusing you of a crime you didn’t commit. I blame my actions on the stress of losing all but a small fraction of the coven’s money. I hope that you can forgive me and we can continue our close loving family relationship going forward.”

“I see what Bella meant now.”Rosalie saw how fake and insincere Carlisle was. He had all the right mannerisms and said all the right words but Rosalie could see it in his eyes that he wasn’t repentant he was pissed. He hid it well but it was there.

“I do to.”Tanya felt nothing but malicious intent coming from Carlisle. Tanya had doubted Bella’s claim that Carlisle was capable of doing something truly horrible but not anymore. It was like Carlisle had taken off a mask and Tanya was seeing him for the first time.

“What did Bella mean?”Edward wanted to know what the human was saying about them.

“She told me that Carlisle never fooled her. She could tell right away that he was being fake and that the good guy family man persona was simply an act he put on. That underneath was a selfish, horrible, degenerate who thought he was a god and deserved to be worshipped.”Rosalie didn’t hesitate to tell them because she knew Bella would tell them herself.

“I don’t think I’m god.”Carlisle did think that he should be worshipped for all the good he did in the world though.

“All this doesn’t matter. What matters is why aren’t you packing the truck.”Tanya didn’t want to deal with this.

“We started bringing our stuff out but Edward tried to take things out of the truck. Emmet stayed with the truck to protect it. When Alice and myself tried to get things out of our rooms both Esme and Carlisle tried to use force to stop us. He kept trying to say that he was our coven leader and he was in charge of what we did. Having enough of the idiots I texted you to clear this up as you are our coven leader. Kate and Garret showed up right before you got here.”Rosalie would rather be spending time with Bella.

“Carlisle as the three of their coven leader I am giving you one chance to leave them alone so they can pack and leave. If not I will take it as a declaration of war and call Irina and Victoria to join us in defending our coven.”Tanya threatened.

“I’m not declaring war! If anything it’s you who is declaring war and I have the right to report you to the kings for it.”Carlisle bluffed. He couldn’t contact the kings because they would not only find out about Edward’s crimes they would find out about Bella and Victoria.

Tanya smiled sending a thank you to Victoria’s sister Anne for spying on Carlisle and Edward for Bella.”I think calling the kings is a great idea.”

“I do to.”Carlisle lied.

“Let’s call them right now. I’m sure they would love to hear all about Esme trying to steal my bond child and Edward blackmailing a group of men into having sex with him. Then there is the way you are preventing three members of your coven from leaving. I’m sure Aro would be happy to take that call.”Tanya knew from Anne that Carlisle was worried about the kings finding out about Edward’s crimes and forcing him into the guard. That information being more proof of how valuable Bella’s ability to talk to ghosts was.

“We don’t need to get the kings involved if you give me back my coven members.”Carlisle was regretting using the kings as a threat.

“No I think we should because if not we are going to continue having these conflicts. You seem to think that you have power over everyone and everything when in fact you are weak and have no power at all. Only the kings can sort out this mess unless of course you are going to accept that the three of them are leaving and not act out because of it.”Tanya wanted this over with but doubted Carlisle would let go that easy.

“I’m not weak and I have a lot of power. More power than you do.”Carlisle was more powerful than any of the vampires present.

Kate laughed.”You’re broke and down four coven members. You Carlisle have absolutely no power.”

“He never did. Proof of that is the only way he could have his own coven was to brainwash and isolate us so all we knew was what he told us. He knew as soon we were exposed to the world outside of his creation we would leave. Which is exactly what happened when we found out about his lies.”Rosalie would be forever thankful that Bella came into her life and showed her the truth.

“I didn’t brainwash or isolate any of you. I protected you from the dangers of this world.”Carlisle did do those things but he wasn’t going to admit.

“From what we have learned you and Edward are the biggest dangers out there.”Alice would have never stayed in the coven with Edward after what he did.

“I’m not a danger”Edward was insulted he was called such a thing.

“You forced unwilling men to have sex with you. Meaning you repeatedly raped men. The only reason they didn’t report you or stop you was because you blackmailed them but using your gift to steal their secrets. You are a fucking rapist. I worry for Emmet knowing what you did.”Rosalie wouldn’t put it past Edward to target Emmet.

“I’m not a rapist. Those men were willing. I didn’t blackmail anyone.”Edward denied. He did but figured if he could get the others to believe him Jasper would come back.

”You are the definition of a rapist and if those men were willing then Jasper wouldn’t have left you after seeing the pictures. Plus your own mother exposed you.”Tanya trusted Bella’s gift over Edward’s word any day.

“That wasn’t my mother it was a demon making up lies.”Edward decided to use Carlisle’s excuse.

“Mother or not you admitted to all of us you committed the crimes. Then you tried to make an excuse for it. Which resulted in the pictures of your victims you kept as a trophy being exposed. So regardless if your mother was talking or not everything they said was proven to be true.”Rosalie knew Edward was guilty.

“It’s not true at all.”Edward said.

“Should we call Bella and ask her what she thinks? I’m sure she would love to tell us more of your secrets Edward.”Kate personally would love to learn more of Edward’s secrets.

“Speaking of the chaos demon.”Tanya looked at her ringing phone seeing Bella’s name on the screen. Answering it she put it to her ear.”We were just talking about you.”

“Well I am very interesting I am told.”Bella replied.

“Is something wrong? Do you need me?”Tanya would leave if Bella needed her.

“No unfortunately my ghost free evening has been disturbed. You see Irina, I and Victoria were finishing going through that box you saw when Martha Edward’s mother showed up screaming her head off. Once I got her to calm down she proceeded to inform me that Edward had gone back to denying his guilt pertaining to the blackmailing men for sex. In her outrage Martha provided me with the contact information for each man. She told me to offer you the information to do with what you want. Irina is texting it to you now. It’s got the name, phone number and address of each man plus the name of their mates if they have one.”Bella told her.

“Thank you for your help and I’m sorry you got bothered.”Tanya wished that she was going through the box instead of dealing with the mess she was currently dealing with.

“No problem. Have fun.”Bella said before the line went dead.

Tanya looked at her phone and opened Irina’s message.”Who should we call first Edward? Kevin? Brad? Donald?”

“I don’t know those names.”Edward was very worried about Tanya having that information.

“Tanya you know who should call those numbers? Aro. He so loves to help victims of crimes.”Kate loved the panic that came over Carlisle’s face.

“We could probably even earn a favor from him for reporting Edward and bringing him so much proof to convict him.”Garret like Kate loved the man’s panic.

“I think Edward would look good in a red robe.”Rosalie knew that no one was calling the kings but Tanya having that evidence was a good motivator for Carlisle to do what the other coven leader wanted.

“Red always looked best on him.”Alice agreed.

“There is no need to call the kings or share with them the contact information of those men.”Carlisle couldn’t let that happen. It would guarantee Edward would be found guilty.

“I won’t call the kings if Edward admits his guilt and you leave the other three alone so they can pack and leave.”Tanya added the part about Edward confessing for Martha who was likely watching.

“Edward do the right thing.”Carlisle projected his thoughts of Aro taking him to the mind reader hoping his son would be smart about this.

Edward scowled at Carlisle. He didn’t believe for a second Aro would take him for the guard. If anything Edward would be offered a place as an advisor.”I didn’t do anything.”

“I guess we start with Brad.”Tanya was stopped from putting in the phone number by Carlisle’s frantic voice.

“There is no need. Edward is going to admit his guilt.”Carlisle sent Edward a glare telling him to do it so they could regroup and find another way to get Bella, Victoria, Alice, Emmet and Rosalie for the coven. They couldn’t win the fight that day.

Edward growled when he heard Carlisle’s demands. His sire was right but he didn’t have to like it.”Fine I admit it.”

“You admit what exactly?”Tanya had hit the record button on her phone.

“I admit that I blackmailed numerous men forcing them into a sexual relationship with me. There are you happy?”Edward frowned when he heard his voice repeat the statement.”You recorded me!!”

“It’s just another piece of evidence for the kings if I need to use it.”Tanya sent a copy of the recording to Irina and Bella just in case something happened to her phone. Once done she pocketed her phone and looked at the group.”Now then let’s get back to packing and loading the truck. Garret you stay out here with the truck, I will be inside. Kate you supervise the area. Everyone get going.”

Rosalie raised an eyebrow at Esme who was blocking her path.”That means you have to move.”

“Carlisle?”Esme didn’t want anyone leaving. Especially Rosalie who was her only link to Bella.

“Let them in.”Carlisle needed to make a new plan because of the evidence that Bella gave Tanya. He hadn’t really considered that Bella would be useful for more than her shield but now he knew that she was even more valuable due to the beings she talked to that could spy on anyone or anything. Including the kings and Carlisle’s enemies. Carlisle definitely had to have her in his coven under his control. The girl was more useful than even Edward and Alice.

Edward growled hearing his sire’s thoughts.”She is not more valuable than me!”

“We will talk about this inside.”Carlisle didn’t want to fight in front of the group.

“No you will admit in front of all these people that I am more valuable than Bella right now!”Edward wanted everyone to know that he was better than the human.

“We will talk about this inside.”Carlisle wasn’t going to talk about Bella’s value out in the open.

“Admit that my gift is superior to the human’s.”Edward demanded.

“Your gifts are different that’s all.”Carlisle tried to control his thoughts but knew he failed when Edward’s face twisted in rage.

“You think that the human could actually control those beings she talks to and spy on the kings?!”Edward scoffed at the very idea.

“Edward shut your mouth.”Carlisle was not pleased when he suddenly had everyone’s attention again.

“I want you to admit that the human is weak and pathetic compared to me.”Edward wasn’t going backdown until Carlisle said it in front of everyone.

“What’s going on now?”Tanya heard the conversation and from what she could tell Edward heard Carlisle thinking about how valuable Bella would be in his coven. To include having the ghosts spy on the kings.

“Carlisle thinks that the human is better than me. He even thinks she is better than Alice.”Edward told her.

“Bella is better than me and brings more value to a coven than I do.”Alice wasn’t afraid to admit it nor did it make her upset. It was just a fact. Bella had more value than Alice did. Alice still loved Bella despite that.

“She definitely brings more value than Edward.”Garrett thought Bella was more valuable as a human than any of the vampires in either coven.

Edward turned to Garret and growled again.”No one especially a human has more value than me.”

“Bella’s value doesn’t concern neither you nor Carlisle. She is a Denali and will be one for the rest of eternity. She sure as hell won’t be using her gift to benefit you in any way Carlisle but thanks for letting me know what your plans for her are. Now I can warn her of your true intentions so she will just have one more reason not to trust you or your motives.”Tanya liked the flash of panic that crossed Carlisle’s face.

“I have no motives with Bella other than to get to know Rosalie’s mate. I don’t have intentions other than taking on a mentor role in her life. I have no plans to use her for anything. You don’t need to say those things to her.”Carlisle didn’t want Bella to be told because it would make it impossible for him to win her over naturally if Bella didn’t trust him. Carlisle glared at Edward for getting him into the mess he was currently in.

“I didn’t do anything. You did when you tried to say I wasn’t more valuable than the human. Which you know is untrue.”Edward didn’t care that Carlisle was losing out on the human. He didn’t want the girl in the coven anymore.

Carlisle put his best fake innocent expression on his face and addressed Tanya.”Tanya I have no ill will towards Bella. The girl is Rosalie’s mate and it’s only proper that I as Rosalie’s coven leader get to know her better. My interest is purely in welcoming a new family member.”

“I am Rosalie’s coven leader and Bella isn’t a member of your family nor will she ever be. Now enough of your nonsense everyone hurry up. I don’t want to be here anymore.”Tanya would have likely fallen for Carlisle’s act before she met Bella but now Tanya could truly see through all the other coven leader’s disguises. She dismissed Carlisle and Edward’s argument and went back to helping. She kept an ear on it because Edward was confirming things Anne had already told Bella about the pair’s plans. Carlisle hadn’t said anything about using Bella’s gift to speak to ghosts before and Tanya figured it was Edward’s mother contacting Bella that gave him the idea. Like Tanya said it didn’t matter. Bella would have never trusted Carlisle even if the human wasn’t bonded to Irina and Tanya. There was no reality where Bella would have been a Cullen. The girl was always meant to be a Denali. No matter the circumstances of her life Tanya was convinced that Bella was destine to be a Denali. Bella was a perfect fit for the coven. The familiar bonds with Irina and Tanya just being an added bonus.
