Sight Unseen 36

“Bella are you finished yet?”Emmett asked impatiently. Rosalie rolled her eyes at her brother. Bella was sitting at the table eating the breakfast she and Irina made. Rosalie had held herself back from joining knowing it was only fair for Irina to have time to bond with Bella. Bella who the night before stole over 50 million dollars from a woman. Stole it so easily that it startled Rosalie. She knew Bella was good with computers but hadn’t realized Bella was that good. When Emmet and Alice had gotten home during the middle of the night and had been told about Hank Emmett excitedly volunteered to fill the box with dog poop. Rosalie didn’t care who did as long wasn’t her or Bella. Bella had slept in much to everyone’s delight but now they were getting impatient because the sun was shining brightly and they all wanted to know if Bella could protect them from it. Rosalie was nervous to find out. Mostly she didn’t want to be disappointed. She foolishly spent time daydreaming about all the trips she and Bella could go on if it was true.

“Emmet let her eat.”Rosalie told him.

Bella shoveled the last few bites in her mouth and finished her juice.”I just need to take care of the dishes then I’m done.”

“I got it.”Irina happily took the empty plate and glass. Plus the dirty silverware. It was proof that she and Bella cooked something eatable. Irina had a great time cooking with Bella and was looking forward to doing it in the future.

“Alright let’s go.”Kate couldn’t wait anymore. She grabbed Bella’s arm and pulled her out of her chair.

“Slow down I just ate.”Bella could feel herself getting sick because of the speed Kate was moving at. She smiled in thanks when Tanya swept in and removed Bella from Kate’s grasp.”Thank you.”

“You’re welcome sweetheart. Now why don’t we wait for Irina and Rosalie so we can walk out together.”Tanya wanted to do this with her mate.

”Ok.”Bella didn’t mind waiting.

“I’m ready.”Irina took Bella’s hand in her own and waited for Rosalie to join them to begin walking out the door. A lot was riding on whether or not Bella’s gift protected them from the sun and Irina had tried very hard not to get her hopes up. Taking her first step outside and feeling the sun shine on her skin Irina’s gasps of shock joined everyone else’s.

“Holy shit it works.”Kate couldn’t believe it her sisters and Rosalie weren’t sparkling at all.

“We need to test the range.”Eleazar was just as excited as everyone else because he wanted to visit the place where he grew up and lived when he was human.

“Good point.”Tanya took Bella by the hand and led her into the middle of the lawn.”Alright everyone form a circle around her and stop when you stop sparkling.”

Alice walked a few steps and stopped.”Done.”

“Done.”Emmet called out.

“Done.”Carmen said.

“Done.”Irina added.

“I’m done to.”Rosalie was feeling the overwhelming urge to sob seeing how far away everyone was from Bella. The distance was proof that they could actually safely interact with humans on a sunny day.

“Alright it seems she blocks equally around her for about 40ft you all think?”Tanya guessed.

“About that.”Eleazar agreed.

“Do you how cool this is Bella?! We can go anywhere in the world because of you.”Kate would get to explore the pyramids like she always wanted.

“I’ve never even considered going someplace sunny. I’m going to have to think about this.”Garret hadn’t given one thought to visiting someplace sunny.

“We will all get together and talk about traveling with Bella. It will be her decision on where we go.”Irina wanted to go a bunch of different places but wouldn’t force Bella to go if the human didn’t want to.

“I don’t mind traveling. I haven’t done much. Plus you all are really old and likely have wanted to go certain places for a long time.”Bella wouldn’t mind taking the vampires to some of the places they always wanted to go. As long as it was only a few at a time and not the whole group together.

“I’m not that old.”Rosalie didn’t like thinking of her age compared to Bella’s.

“How old are you?”Bella asked.

“I was born in 1912.”Rosalie reluctantly admitted.

“See you are really old.”Bella knew it.

“Not as old as the sisters.”Rosalie told her.

“Oh course you aren’t. Based on what Kate’s dad looked like they were born at least a thousand years ago.”Bella said.

“You’re right.”Kate was impressed her niece guessed right.

“Anyway are we going to stand out here all day or can I show Bella my video games?”Emmett wanted to play games with Bella.

“I am alright at videos games but not the best.”Bella would like to play.

“That’s alright we will play something easy.”Emmett assure her.

“Ok then.”Bella followed after Emmet into the house and took a seat on the couch in the living room.

Emmett set everything up and handed Bella a controller.”This is a shooting game. So just kill everyone you can.”

“I think it would be nice to kill people for a change.”Bella thought it would be therapeutic to kill someone.

Kate chuckled as she took a seat next to Bella on the couch with Rosalie taking the seat on the other side of the human and the rest group sitting on other pieces of furniture.”I would think you would want to avoid killing anybody for fear their ghost would haunt you for eternity.

“That is a good point. I will just have to stick with taking joy in learning how each ghost died. Even though it would be nice to kill someone every now and then.”Bella would have liked to murder a few people she had come across over the years.

“I’m very disturb by the fact that I honestly believe that you would really kill people if you didn’t have to worry about their ghosts bothering you.”Tanya wondered if one of family needed to school to get qualified to become Bella’s personal therapist because it was obvious that Bella needed some kind of therapy.

Bella shrugged.”I don’t know if you noticed humans and supernaturals are all assholes. Even I’m an asshole. To other people all of you are assholes and the one thing everyone has in common is at least one person you have interacted with has a legitimate reason for wanting you dead and each of you have legitimate reason for wanting at least one person dead. I’m just usually the only one who admits they would actually murder people.”

“I’m not an asshole.”Alice didn’t think anyone had a reason to kill her.

“I bet that you have changed the future of someone that would want you dead knowing you were the reason their life turned out the way it did.”Bella said.

“I hate to agree with her babe but that makes sense.”Emmett told her.

“I think the rest of us can admit that there are people who have good reasons for wanting us dead. Even if we don’t like it.”Rosalie pissed a lot of people off and bet that if they stayed in a town long enough someone would have tried to kill her.

“Before the others get back I don’t want us to tell them or anyone else about the sun thing. If a vampire found out about it Bella would be targeted by not only nice vampires but horrible ones that would try to take Bella by force.”Tanya didn’t want her daughter to be in danger when she could prevent it.

“I don’t think it’s a good idea either.”Irina felt the same as Tanya.

“We just have to make sure we don’t stand outside with Bella when it’s sunny.”Kate wasn’t going to risk her niece’s safety for anything.

“The weather says the storm will be coming in about four hours. What time do we need to be at the field?”Alice wanted to make a plan.

“Any time after the storm hits. They will hear you playing no matter what time we start.”Bella wanted to go as soon as possible so she could save Victoria.

“Start what?”Edward asked as he, Jasper, Carlisle and Esme entered the house and joined everyone in the living room. The four had spent some time making plans on what to do about Bella then each couple went hunting.

“Start this game.”Emmett said.

“Bella dear are you hungry? Do you want me to make you breakfast?”Esme was going to use this as a chance to take care of Bella.

“No thank you my mom and I made omelets together that I ate about half an hour ago.”Bella told her.

Irina beamed at the title that Bella didn’t even seem to know she had given Irina. Looking to her mate Irina saw Tanya smiling just as brightly as she was.”I had a great time cooking with you Bella.”

“Well if you get hungry later let me know I will make you something.”Esme didn’t like that Bella was calling Irina mom even if they had a familiar bond. Esme was hoping that because Bella was human she wouldn’t feel it and Esme could fill the role of mother to Bella. Then Esme would get the change to mother a child that actually needed to be taken care of.

“That’s alright I’m teaching my mom how to cook so anything I have in the future even snacks we are going to make together. That way mom can get lots of practice so she can take over preparing all my food.”Bella didn’t have to tell Esme any of that but she wanted the woman to get out the mindset that Bella would have any kind of relationship with her.

“Well if you need help let me know.”Esme was going to have figure out some other way to bond with Bella.”Do you have any clothes you need washed?”

”My other mother said she would do it for me when I needed it done.”Bella lied.

“I am looking forward to it Bella.”Tanya was extremely happy for Bella to call her mother. She was also happy that Bella was going out of her way to deny Esme any way of taking care of her. Tanya’s vampire appreciated that because if Bella hadn’t Tanya and Irina would have attacked Esme.

“If anything else comes up let me know.”Esme was very frustrated that Bella wasn’t letting her help.

“I’ll let my mothers know and if they can’t take care of it they will come to you on their own.”Bella wasn’t leaving any doors open for Esme to speak to her.

“I’m sure we’ll be fine Esme thank you though.”Irina felt very smug looking at the annoyed expression Esme was sporting. Bella had handled the woman perfectly.

“You are not very good at this game Bella.”Kate said as she watched Bella’s character die.

“I keep getting distracted by watching the enemy dying and it leaves me vulnerable.”Bella needed to focus better.

“Why would you want to watch the enemy die?”Jasper thought that was a very odd statement.

“I get off on it.”Bella deadpanned. The room became completely silent as if no one knew how to react. That silence was broken by Emmett’s booming laughter which started a trend with everyone but Edward, Jasper, Carlisle and Esme laughing as well.

“I love you Bella.”Emmett shouldn’t have been surprised by Bella’s comment because the girl said outrageous stuff all the time.

Kate slung her arm around Bella and pulled her into her side.”You my niece are an outstanding individual. Please don’t ever change who you are.”

“I don’t think you have to worry about that. After living my live this is what’s left. It isn’t changing.”Bella would never be anyone different.”As for loving me Emmett you may have cute dimples but I only like women and have a really hot girlfriend so I’m going to have to pass.”

“Of course you are going to pass.”Rosalie didn’t bother hiding her smile at being called Bella’s girlfriend. It was the first time Bella had called her that and Rosalie loved having an official title.

“So Bella you said that you have people who wanted to talk to us. We were wondering if we could do that now?”Carlisle really wanted to know who wanted to speak to him.

“Yeah sure who wants to go first.”Bella didn’t look away from the video game.

“I’ll go first.”Edward like Carlisle wanted to find out who wanted to talk to him.

Bella paused the game and looked up.”Hey can you get whoever wants to talk to Edward?”

“Who are you talking to?”Tanya had never seen Bella randomly ask to see someone.

“I don’t know who I talk to but they always do as I ask. It could be the person in charge of line or god for all I care. As long as they do what I ask they can be anyone they want.”Bella told her she as waited until a  woman in her late thirties wearing very outdated clothing appeared to unpause the game.”Edward a woman who says her name is Martha is here to see you.”

Edward gasped.”That’s my mother.”

“Alright calm down I can’t hear you when you are ranting like that.”Bella hated when ghosts got worked up.

“What is she ranting about?”Edward asked.

“She ranting because she is pissed at you. That is not a nice thing to say about your own child.”Bella paused the game again and looked at Martha in shock.”I’m not saying that.”

“What does she want you to say?”Kate wished she could eat food so she could snack on popcorn as she watched whatever crazy drama she predicted was about to unfold.

“Just tell me what she has to say.”Edward could take it.

“If that’s what you want.”Bella decided that after these four she wasn’t going to talk to anyone’s friends and family anymore because this was not going to be a happy reunion.

“It’s what I want.”Edward was sure of it.

“Can’t say I didn’t warn you. Your mother would like me to tell you how disappointed in you she is. She has been watching you since she left this earth and she is disgusted with your actions. She says that the boy she raised wasn’t the manipulative, scheming man who uses his gift to exploit vulnerable people. She wants to know how you can look yourself in the mirror after the four years you hunted humans. She told me to tell you she knows why you picked them and it wasn’t because they were bad people. She says that if you want to get your place in heaven then you better change your ways because you Edward have a soul and your mother isn’t impressed with the condition of it. That condition being the results of your own actions.”Bella took a deep breath to calm down as she had starting feeling the ghost’s anger. That was a new side effect she would talk to Rosalie and her mothers about in private later.

“Holy shit.”Emmet was extremely happy that his mother had been nice to him.

“That was better than I thought it would be.”Kate loved the opened mouth wide eyed stare Edward was giving Bella. It had her looking forward to the other three’s ghosts visiting.

“That’s not. I didn’t. They weren’t.”Edward couldn’t think properly. He never expected his mother to have been watching over him since she died.

“Edward don’t try to justify your actions. She knows everything. Things that she is being polite to you by not having me say them out loud. She mentioned a man named Denis.”Bella knew Edward knew what she was talking about when he visibly flinched like he had been hit.

“Who’s Denis?”Jasper had never heard of a Denis before.

“I don’t know anyone named Denis. It’s obvious that Bella isn’t talking to my mother.”Edward lied.

“Seriously Edward? Now you are forcing more to tell them when you could have just acknowledged your mom and promised to do better. You didn’t do that however so now I have to expose you. Are you really that stupid?”Bella looked to the ghost.”Thank you for confirming he is that stupid Martha”

“What did she tell you about Denis?”Rosalie was loving that it was Edward’s own mother exposing his secrets. The fact that the woman confirmed Edward had a soul was even better.

“Denis is a vampire Edward met during the period he was away from the coven. Edward had shown a romantic interest in him but Denis didn’t want anything to do with Edward. Instead of taking the rejection and moving on Edward used Denis’ own thoughts to blackmail him into having a sexual relationship with him. A relationship that lasted until he met Jasper.”Bella explained.

“Edward!”Jasper was appalled that Edward would do something like that.

“It’s a lie.”Edward was now very sure that Bella was indeed talking to his mother.

“Your mother is offering me Denis’ phone number. It’s your choice Edward either you admit or we call the man and he admits it.”Bella hoped that Edward would admit it because she really didn’t like being dragged into his drama.

Edward thought through his options. He didn’t really have any.”Fine yes I did it.”

“Son what were you thinking?!”Carlisle was shocked and saddened that Edward would do such a thing.

“Shit.”Emmet hadn’t expected Edward to be capable of that.

“I was young and lonely. It was a mistake and one I am very sorry about.”Edward told him.

Bella groaned.“Edward come on. Why are you doing this to both yourself and me?”

“What is it now?”Kate asked excitedly. She made a mental note to get Bella a gift to thank her for exposing Edward’s secrets. It was something Kate and everyone else always wanted to have happen.

“Martha was only going to bring up Denis. Then you had go and lie to make yourself look like a victim.”Bella shook her head.”I should have stayed at my house last night and skipped this disaster.”

“Bella focus. What does Martha want you to tell us?”Tanya wanted to know all of Edward’s secrets. He had collected everyone else’s his whole life it was only fair they know his.

Bella glared at Edward.”Martha wants me to tell all of you Denis wasn’t the only man Edward did that to.”

“What the fuck?!”Rosalie exclaimed loudly. She knew Edward was a horrible person but never thought he was capable of what he was being accused of. It was just proof that Edward was untrustworthy and a degenerate. He definitely wasn’t the upstanding man of god he tried to portray himself as and the fact that he had been exposed for what he was made Rosalie feel extremely satisfied. Carlisle’s golden boy was no more. Rosalie felt smug that her own mate was the reason for his downfall.

“Please Edward I beg of you do not deny it. Martha promised me that you won’t like what she tells me next if you do.”Bella didn’t want to know anything else about Edward.

“Edward deny it.”Kate unlike Bella wanted to know what else Martha had to say.

“Edward is this true?”Jasper asked.

“No I.”Edward hesitated a second too long to give a real answer before Bella was talking again.

“He has pornographic pictures of him with each man hidden in a small safe behind the wooden piece of wall near the floor in the left corner of his and Jasper’s bedroom. In the pictures you can tell the men are not willing participants.”Bella really hated Edward at that moment.

“What the fuck?!”It was Emmet exclaiming the phrase as loud as Rosalie did this time.

Kate laughed.”Oh my god. This is the greatest day of my life.”

“Jasper wait.”Edward rushed after his mate to their bedroom.

Alice watched them go.”I never saw that coming.”

“How are you going to handle that one Carlisle?”Tanya was curious to know how Carlisle would discipline his favorite son.

“I will talk to him later after he and Jasper spend some time alone together.”Carlisle wasn’t sure how to handle the situation. He would have never suspected Edward could do such a thing. He wished that Edward had spoken to Bella in private and that no one else found out the information.

“Martha left if either of you two want to go next.”Bella was happy that was over.

“I’ll go.”Carlisle didn’t think that anything bad would be said about him.

“Alright.”Bella looked up again.”Can you get me the person who wants to talk to Carlisle?”

“I wonder if there is a way to find out who you are talking to.”Eleazar would have do some research in religious texts. He had a few in personal library but thought that buying some more would come in handy now that Bella was a member of his coven.

Bella open her mouth to respond only to put her hands over her ears.”Dude stop yelling. I’m not the one you’re mad at. I don’t deserve the abuse.”

“Who is here and why are they yelling?”Carlisle didn’t know what he had done to be yelled at by anyone.

“He says he is your father Gerold, he’s dressed like a very old school priest and he is pissed.”Bella had never seen a ghost so angry.

“What have I done to upset my father? I have lived by the scriptures and practiced…”Carlisle was cut off by Bella.

“Please stop talking. It is just pissing him off more and even though you can’t hear him I can. The man is so loud he is giving me a headache.”Bella needed Carlisle to shut up.

“Do you want me to get you aspirin Bella?”Rosalie had bought all the first aide supplies needed to take care of a human the day after she learned that Bella was her mate.

“No I’ll be fine if Gerold stops yelling.”Bella glared at Gerold.”Now then calmly tell me what you want me to tell your son.”

“I bet this is going to be better than what happened with Edward.”Kate was living for this. It wasn’t everyday that Carlisle got told off by someone he actually respected.

“Carlisle Gerold who has graciously allowed me to use his first has many things he wishes for me to tell you. I will tell you these things with the warning that Gerold wanted me to scream them at you and have someone punch you in the face when I was done speaking for him because he can’t punch you himself.”Bella was really glad she wasn’t Carlisle.

“What the heck?”Tanya felt just as excited for this as Kate. Tanya wasn’t a fan of Carlisle and only kept in contact with the Cullens for the other members of his coven.

“First Gerold would like you to know that he is very ashamed and disappointed in you. He isn’t upset you became a vampire because he knows it wasn’t your choice. He even felt proud that you never killed a human and encouraged others not to as well. What he is pissed off about is the fact that you forced four people to became vampires against their own will instead of letting them die like they were supposed to. Gerold is angry because you robbed them of their afterlife. Edward was set on having a peaceful afterlife but after he became a vampire he is going to have a very painful one. Gerold blames you for this.”Bella blamed Carlisle for it too.

“I saved them. They were to to young to die….”Carlisle flinched when Bella jumped up from the couch and pointed an angry finger at him.

“You are not god. It was not your right to decide if they should live or die. You think you are some savior when in reality you were really a lonely man who wanted to play family so you chose your so called children and had them play their parts perfectly.”Bella told him.

“I don’t think I am god. I truly believed changing them saved them not for them to be my family. We choose to live as a family not because I make us.”Carlisle flinched again when Bella started yelling.

“You selfish, self centered, narcissistic asshole. It wasn’t your right to force them to become vampires. How do you not understand that? You a man who was forced to became a vampire and would jump at the chance to become human again thinks that just because it’s you who is doing makes it alright. What kind of fucked up thinking is that? At least the vampire who changed you had a good reason for doing it. Your reason is insulting to the values of your father and god himself.”Bella stopped shouted when she felt two arms wrap around her from behind.

“Let’s take a break and calm down.”Tanya said as she guided Bella to sit on Irina’s lap while she took a seat next to them. She had never seen Bella emotional before and it was a scary sight. Tanya knew that if she hadn’t pulled Bella away the human would have attacked Carlisle.

“Are you alright?”Irina asked Bella in concern.

Bella buried her head in Irina’s neck and took deep breaths. She started feeling her body relax when she smelt Irina’s perfume.”I don’t like Carlisle. I don’t like being in the same room as him, the same house as him, the same town as him, the same state as him, the same country as him, the same continent as him and I don’t even like being on the same planet as him. He is a disgusting, despicable man.”

“I am no such thing.”Carlisle was highly insulted that Bella would call him that.

“Keep your mouth shut Carlisle.”Tanya didn’t want him upsetting Bella more.

“Ok let’s finish this. Can I please stay on your lap while I do it?”Bella felt the most comfortable on Irina’s lap.

“Of corse sweetheart.”Irina was very happy that Bella sought her out for comfort.

“Now where were we. I had just got done calling Carlisle out for being what he really is. That being someone who thought they were a god and stole four people’s lives from them so he could play family.”Bella said.

“Carlisle keep your mouth shut.”Irina like Tanya didn’t want Bella to get more upset.

“None of that is true.”Carlisle wasn’t going to let Bella insult him.

“How is not true when you force grown adults who have been alive for over a century to pretend to be underage minors and go to high school?”Bella held up her hand to stop him from interrupting.”Don’t try and say it’s the only way to blend in with humans. You are physically the second youngest member of your coven. Yet you are allowed to work. By your logic shouldn’t it be Alice and Emmet the oldest physical couple pretending to be the parents and you and Esme joining the others at school?”

“Holy shit she is right.”Emmett never did the math before.

“How does that make you feel Alice? Do you like having to dress like a preteen and have people constantly ask you where your parents are? Would you rather go to school or have an actual job where you can act and look your own age?”Bella knew what she would pick.

“I would rather have a job. I hate having to dress so young.”Alice hated it with a passion.

“Emmett, Rosalie would you rather have jobs or go to high school?”Bella asked them.

“I fucking hate high school. I get harassed all day.”Rosalie had asked many time to stay home but Carlisle told her no.

“I hate it too.”Emmett thought it was boring.

“So why is that you have to go when Carlisle who is younger than all three you can have a job? Why is Carlisle more important than you? I mean there are three of you. How is he going to force you to go?”Bella didn’t understand why they even bothered.

“She’s right about that was well.”Emmett couldn’t believe he never realized all the things Bella said.

“I’m only going back to be with Bella. After she graduates I’m not doing it again.”Rosalie would never set foot in a high school after Bella graduated.

“We are going to stop going now.”Alice didn’t even have to ask Emmet to know that was what he wanted as well.

“Now wait a minute. No one is dropping out. We have to play our roles to blend in with humans.”Carlisle didn’t like where this was going.

“Gerold wants to know why they have to play those specific roles? He doesn’t understand why you get to be a doctor when each of your coven members excluding Esme have more than one doctorate that could get them a really good job. One that pays better than being a doctor. So Carlisle tell us why does everyone but you have to pretend to be a child when they could easily blend in with humans it they were adults like you have done for centuries? What makes you so special?”Bella didn’t think there was anything special about Carlisle.

“I have the most experience in the coven and I am the leader of the family. It’s my duty to protect them and provide for them. To do that they need to act like they are teenagers.”Carlisle was firm in that belief.

Bella winced when Gerold started yelling again.”I wish you could hear your father screaming at you right now Carlisle. He doesn’t understand how you have turned your back on the lord and chose to follow your own desires. Don’t bother fighting me about it. Gerold has watched you this whole time and he has seen and heard every conversation you have had. Including the ones with Bradly in the castle. You two talked about how lonely you both were and how the pair of you thought the best thing to do was create your own families. Families you could mold to follow your own values. Animal drinking and a family that followed the values of god in your case Carlisle.”

“What the fuck Carlisle?”Kate wasn’t expecting that.

“That’s not what we meant.”Carlisle tried to deny.

“It is what you meant. Gerold says he can see that you are a lost cause and wants to encourage Rosalie, Alice and Emmet to forge their own paths. He leaves these parting words for you Carlisle. You are not all powerful and if you don’t step back into the light you are not going to like where you end up when you die.”Bella gave Gerold a smile.”He left.”

“That was fucking life changing.”Emmet said.

“I did save all of you and not to make my own family.”Carlisle wouldn’t admit otherwise. His father was wrong about him.

“I’m not fighting about this anymore. Do you guys mind if I go to my room and relax?”Bella wanted to be anywhere Carlisle wasn’t.

“Do you want company?”Irina asked.

“Sure you guys can come. I just want to be away from Carlisle, Esme, Edward and Jasper.”Bella wouldn’t mind the others being with her.

“Bella we were hoping you would spend time with us getting to know us better.”Esme wasn’t worried about a ghost talking to her she wanted to get close to Bella.

“No thank you. After what has been revealed about Carlisle and Edward I think it best if I keep my distance.”Bella would use that as an excuse to not spend time with those four.

“Bella you can’t trust the world of an apparition that looks like my father. It was likely a demon trying to trick you.”Carlisle knew his father would never say any of those things.

Kate growled at Carlisle.”Don’t speak about things you don’t have even the slightest understanding of. Bella talked to your father and deep down you know it but just don’t want to admit that the man was right about you.”

“Come on Bella.”Rosalie pulled Bella off of Irina’s lap and led her towards the stairs ignoring everyone else. Rosalie had a lot of things to think about but wasn’t going to bring anything up in front of Bella for a while. It wouldn’t do anyone good if Bella got more upset. Especially because they were going to be dealing with the Victoria situation in a couple hours. That was something she wanted to talk to Bella about privately but Bella was never left alone and Rosalie didn’t have an excuse to hold her while she slept. Rosalie felt guilty about not telling Bella that Rosalie didn’t actually sleep. As expected Bella didn’t not react well to the news. Not that Rosalie blamed her. At least Bella got over her anger quickly after it was explained to her exactly what a mate bond felt like to a vampire. They all were very lucky that Bella was so accepting of things. Well except for what both Carlisle and Edward did. No one else was accepting any of that either. Rosalie did wonder what was going to happen with the Cullen coven. After everything that was revealed Rosalie knew they would never be the same.
