Soul Bound 26

“Molly Weasley housewife or home wrecker? You decide.”Bellatrix exclaimed as she walked into the family room where Andromeda was sitting on the couch holding Hermione, Narcissa was sitting next to her and Nymphadora was in a recliner watching cartoons. Bellatrix didn’t recognize the cartoon and was going to ask about it later. Cartoons were one of her new favorite things and she was looking forward to sharing them with Hermione. That was a ways in the future though. In the present Bellatrix had just returned from going to the magical world to buy some newspapers. As the sisters predicted Molly’s picture was on the front page of most of them. A few of them had the Black sisters and one that was a home decor themed publication had a moving picture of Narcissa cleaning the couch on the front of it. Bellatrix had seen a few people both men and women buying the couch one. It was just more proof that their book was going to be a best seller.

“How many papers did you buy?”Narcissa counted at least a dozen in Bellatrix’s hands.

“I didn’t count. I just grabbed all the ones with the best headlines. I even got a few that featured us.”Bellatrix told her.

“I doubt many featured us.”Andromeda didn’t think the public would be all that interest in them compared to what was going on with Molly.

“I counted over a half dozen with either all of us or some of us on the front pages.”Bellatrix shuffled through the papers and held one up for her sisters.”Including this one.”

“Black sisters vindicated. Molly Weasley admits to a lifetime of hatred based on jealousy.”Andromeda read out loud.

“Was that one selling good?”Narcissa asked.

“They all were. Even the home decor magazine that had Cissa cleaning the couch on the cover. I asked the guy selling the papers and he told me that when the three of us are involved he usually sells out of most of the papers by lunch time. He even thanked me for being so good for his business.”Bellatrix had laughed when the man thanked her.

“At least we are helping someone out.”Andromeda grumbled.

“The title of the one you showed said housewife or home wrecker? You decide. Does that mean they identified who she had her affairs with and one them is married?”Narcissa wanted to know who Molly had been sleeping with.

“They did and you won’t believe the four names. One of then being Arthur’s brother Mitchel.”Bellatrix told them.

“He’s not even the heir.”Andromeda didn’t get what Molly thought she would achieve sleeping with Arthur’s brother.

“The article says that Arthur asked Molly why she slept with his brother and she told him because she thought he would marry her and her children would be accepted as Weasleys on the family tapestry.”Bellatrix thought there was some merit to Molly’s plan.

“Who are the other men?”Narcissa wondered how Mitchel’s marriage would be effected once his wife found out about him having an affair with Molly.

“Another is a man I don’t know named Derik Lookshaw. His a security guard at the bank. Her reason for sleeping with him was she hoped he could help her break into the Prewett family vault.”Bellatrix smiled when both her sisters laugh. When that laughter was joined by the sound of a baby laughing Bellatrix rushed to Hermione.”Did she just laugh?”

“I think she did.”Narcissa wanted to hear it again. She reached out her fingers and tickled Hermione’s side. Narcissa smiled brightly when Hermione started giggling.

“She’s laughing!!”Andromeda couldn’t believe it.

“The first time she laughs is because of Molly Weasley being pitiful.”Bellatrix couldn’t be prouder.

“Jean and Denis are going be sad they missed it.”Narcissa knew that the couple was going to regret going to the concert and spending the night in a hotel when they found out they missed out on Hermione laughing for the first time.

“At least we were here to hear it and she didn’t do it in front of a stranger.”Andromeda would have been extremely upset if Hermione laughed for the first time in front of anyone but she, her sisters or Hermione’s parents.

“Laughing is the first step to her talking.”Bellatrix couldn’t wait until she could have conversations with Hermione.

“Get back to the names. Who are the other two?”Narcissa wanted to hear Hermione laugh again but didn’t want to overstimulate the baby.

“The next one was a very familiar name to all of us Alastor Moody.”Bellatrix’s smile was even brighter when both her sisters looked at her in shock.

“What the fuck?!”Andromeda knew that wasn’t true. There was no way Moody had sex with Molly.

“Andy language.”Narcissa didn’t want Hermione hearing such things. 

“According to this paper and a few others I skimmed through Molly said that she slept with Moody to try and gain influence in the Order. A random reporter asked her if it worked and Molly actually replied saying that Moody was the reason she wasn’t kicked of the Order a long time ago.”Bellatrix told them.

“We always thought it was her brothers that kept her in. It would make sense if Moody was pulling the strings. Though I wonder why Moody didn’t involve her in anything.”Andromeda would have thought Moody would have used his influence to get Molly a seat at the table.

“She stupidly answered that question when asked as well. Apparently even Moody couldn’t convince people that Molly could be trusted. He had tried numerous times to get her invited to Dumbledore’s inner circle but everyone including Dumbledore vetoed the idea.”Bellatrix would have vetoed it as well.

“Is the last name on the list as scandalous as the others?”Narcissa figured it was.

Bellatrix nodded.”I day say the last name is the most scandalous.”

“Well who is it?”Andromeda asked impatiently when Bellatrix didn’t same a name.

“The last name on the list is.”Bellatrix paused for dramatic effect.”Amycus Carrow.”

“What the heck?”Narcissa wasn’t sure she believed that one. Moody made more sense than Amycus.

“Surely you would have picked that up from his thoughts Cissa?”Andromeda asked.

”I purposely staid out of his and his sister’s minds. The few times I have been in them I saw horrible things. Luckily none of it was Amycus having sex with Molly. That would have scarred me for life.”Narcissa wouldn’t have been able to recover if she saw that.

“What was her excuse for having an affair with him?”Andromeda bet it was stupid one.

“She wanted to be his wife and the matriarch of a pureblood family. He also promised that he would get her a place in the Dark Lord’s inner circle. That was obviously a lie though. There was no way Amycus was going to leave his wife for Molly and there was no way the Dark Lord would have taken her for his cause. If by some chance he did Molly wasn’t strong enough to be in the inner circle. She sure hell didn’t have enough gold to buy her place in it and Alecto would have killed her brother if he ever used the family gold to pay for her.”Bellatrix thought Amycus was just stringing Molly along.

“How long was she with these men?”Narcissa wanted to know when the affairs started.

“She got with Arthur’s brother a year after she got married and they broke up 4 years later when Molly finally realized he wasn’t going to marry her. The bank guard she has been with since he started at the bank two and a half years ago. Moody she got together with a month before she joined the Order officially. She had been trying to get an invitation but wasn’t having any luck so she sought out Moody to get her in. As for Amycus that’s been going on for about three years. She got his attention by sending him a letter inquiring about what she needed to do to join the Dark Lord’s cause.”Bellatrix explained.

“Why didn’t she kick the press off her property? Why did she admit all this while under the effects of the truth potion?”If Andromeda had as much to hide as Molly did she wouldn’t have agreed to take the truth potion at all.

Bellatrix shrugged.”I don’t know.”

“She probably thought that she could beat the potion. Even though every time she opened her mouth she hurt herself more. She is so full of herself that she would have thought she could turn everything around to gain everyone’s favor. Especially after the three of us came out completely unscathed.”Narcissa thought that Molly was too stupid to have the reporters leave.

“What other crazy things did she admit?”Andromeda knew there had to be more than just the names of who she was sleeping with.

“She admitted that she was planning to spy on the Order for Amycus. She didn’t get the chance though because like I told you Moody couldn’t get her involved in anything important enough to pass along to the Dark Lord.”Bellatrix always knew that Molly couldn’t be trusted.

“There goes the medals she was expecting to receive for her war efforts.”Narcissa was not surprised that Molly was a spy for the Dark Lord.

“Molly was so sure I was a spy for the Dark Lord when in reality she was the spy.”Andromeda shook her head at the silliness of it all.”It does make you wonder if she hates us as much as does why did she want to be on the Dark Lord’s side. That being who she thought the three of us were aligned with.”

“That was asked as well. Her answer was she was hoping to gain the Dark Lord’s favor and have the three of us killed.”Bellatrix knew that would never happen. The Dark Lord had a weird fondness for Bellatrix and Narcissa. He would have never let anyone harm them.

“Seriously how stupid is this woman. I would shut down the questioning when we were the ones asking the questions. I definitely wouldn’t have let the press ask me questions.”Andromeda didn’t know anyone could be that stupid.

“Did she say why she wanted us dead?”Narcissa wanted to know Molly’s official reason for killing her and her sisters.

“She said that we deserved to die for living the life she always wanted. Andy she claimed deserved it for walking away from the life she always wanted. One of the reporters asked why she would want to be magically bound to her husband and have her free will taken away and Molly told her she would have happily done it to have the status and wealth a pureblood wife had.”Bellatrix would have liked to have been a Prewett over being a Black. Even if they were cheap the children at least got to choose what they did with their lives.

“Idiot.”Andromeda was extremely happy she walked away from that responsibility. She would never have volunteered to let someone have that much control over her. Not even Hermione and they were soulmates.

“What’s Arthur’s reaction to all this?”Narcissa figured the man wasn’t happy.

“The reporters claimed he went back and forth from shocked to angry every time Molly revealed something new. When Molly revealed that she has been actively searching for a pureblood man to replace him since they had started dating he cried. Then he mumbled something about losing the love of his life. The press questioned him about the statement but all he said was the timing of their marriage was rather quick.”Bellatrix couldn’t figure out what he meant.

“If he is claiming that he and Molly rushed to get married do you think she cockholded him?”Andromeda asked.

“I wouldn’t put it past Molly to purposely get pregnant to secure a marriage to a pureblood man.”Narcissa thought that was exactly something Molly would do.

“That would actually make sense. Arthur talking about losing the love of his life could mean they likely weren’t really dating and Molly convinced Arthur to have sex with her somehow. Then she purposely got pregnant and the idiot Arthur is stepped up to take responsibility for the kid and married her.”Bellatrix may have thought Arthur was a moron but the man had a good heart and she always thought he could do better than Molly.

“Do you even think the child was his?”Narcissa wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t.

“Molly said she didn’t know if he was the father of any of her children so it might not have been. I regret not asking the broader question of have you ever cheated on Arthur instead of asking how many affairs have you had since marrying Arthur.”Andromeda should have worded her question better.

“I think we will find out the truth soon enough because Arthur asked for a paternity test for all the children.”Bellatrix was excited for the results.

“Do you think one of them is Moody’s or Carrow’s?”Andromeda asked.

“It would be funny if she had one by each man. They were on conflicting sides during the war it would be interesting to see what type of people they turn into.”Narcissa would like to see how two vastly different fathers could influence their sons when they had the same mother.

“That would be funny. I actually bet that Molly made sure she had a son with each of them. She would have desperately wanted to have one with Amycus so she could have some kind of claim on the Carrow estate.”Andromeda thought that Molly had been planning on a having child with Amycus well before she reached out to him.

“It’s too bad for her Alecto would never let it happen. Molly has been discussed by her and others and when she is brought up Alecto has nothing good to say about her or her offspring. I bet she will find a way before she and her brother go to prison for him to disown the child if there is one. Hell she might even try to kill it.”Bellatrix didn’t think that Alecto would allow any child of Molly’s to claim the Carrow name. Even if her brother was the father.

“She really would kill it. Her reason being that not only does she hate Molly but she doesn’t consider her a pureblood. Alecto doesn’t consider any of the Prewett family after Molly’s grandparents purebloods. I never understood why though.”Narcissa never got a straight answer why the woman thought that.

“I think it’s because of the way her parents and brothers live. When her father took over as Head of Household the family stopped holding galas and all their donations to charity stopped as well. Plus they pulled back from investing in anything they didn’t have the majority ownership of and that pissed a lot of people off as the Prewett family is considered the wealthiest pureblood house after the Longbottom family. So all that gold people were benefiting from dried up and they turned their backs on all of the frivolous traditions and didn’t support any causes. Then with the brothers and Molly joining the Order it was just more proof they weren’t proper purebloods.”Bellatrix explained.

“I’m glad they are cheap. It makes Hermione’s inheritance bigger.”Andromeda wanted Hermione to be extremely well off so she wouldn’t have to worry about supporting herself in the future.

“Was there any more big revelations or did Molly actually get smart and throw the press out?”Narcissa asked.

“There were two more big revelations and both I find hilarious. The first being that she has mortgaged their home so much that they are in foreclosure.”Bellatrix smiled when Hermione along with her sisters’ laughed.”I love that sound.”

“It’s becoming one of my favorites.”Narcissa was going to try to earn more of those laughs in the future.

“So she is going to lose her home?”Andromeda was yet again not surprised by Molly’s actions.

“Yes and how she was going to pay off the debt and save it coincides with the last revelation. Molly was planning on helping Ted in his quest to gain access to the Lestrange and Malfoy estates and once he had that access she was going seduce him. Then once she was sleeping with him she was going to have him pay off the mortgage and give her gold to spend on whatever she wanted.”Bellatrix  smiled when the laughter was louder this time.

“Mom can you be quiet I’m trying to watch tv?”Nymphadora asked.

“Sorry sweetheart.”Andromeda knew that Nymphadora wasn’t listening to their conversation because the movie she was watching was one she had never seen before and was excited about. 

“She thought that Ted would give her gold?”Narcissa didn’t think the man would give her anything.

“That was her main reason for sleeping with him. She also thought it would make Andromeda mad if she ever found out.”Bellatrix knew her sister could care less.

Andromeda rolled her eyes.”She can have him.”

“I think that ship has sailed though.”Bellatrix said.

“Or maybe she will double down now that Arthur has found out who she really is. I doubt they will stay married and if they divorce she will get nothing for alimony as she was the one who cheated. If Arthur actually files for custody of the children he will most likely win because he has a job and is a positive influence on them. Molly is an adulterer who was a spy for the Dark Lord. She is obviously not someone who should be parenting a child.”Narcissa wouldn’t even let Molly be around children let alone have custody of any.

“Maybe we should offer to pay for Arthur’s lawyer.”Andromeda suggested.

“That would be the perfect karma but for this situation I think it’s for best that we stay clear of it. As matter of fact we should stay clear of Molly altogether.”Bellatrix didn’t think it would be good for their image to be linked to Molly in any way. Good or bad.

“That is a wonderful idea. The only problem is that Molly keeps dragging us back into her life.”Narcissa would happily never speak Molly’s name again but it was impossible because the woman was obsessed with them. It was like Molly dedicated her life to attacking Narcissa and her sisters.

“Well we have proven to the public that she is the one with the grudge. So in the future only answer questions if asked about her but don’t bring her up. Even if you get the opportunity to insult her. I want us to be as Molly free as we can be from now on.”Bellatrix told them.

“I would love a Molly free life.”Andromeda easily agreed with Bellatrix’s suggestion.

“Even if we can get it to calm down for now it will start right back up again when we start teaching at Hogwarts.”Narcissa predicted Molly was going to cause a big scene when it was announced the sisters were going to teach there.

“I’ll make sure to hex her children every chance I get just like with Lucius’ bastard.”Bellatrix was going to have to research the nastiest curses she could get away with using on students to have ready for all the children she was going hex. Molly’s children along with Lucius’ bastard and any other child that thought they could mess with Hermione would be feeling pain when she encountered them.

“I’ll be sure not to treat them properly every time one is sent to me to be healed because of you.”Andromeda would do it as her way of supporting Hermione.

“I’ll think of something I can do.”Narcissa wanted to be able to defend Hermione’s honor like her sisters. She was sure she would figure something out by the time Hermione started school.

“How do you think Ted is going to respond to Molly’s claims?”Bellatrix asked Andromeda.

“He likely will be flattered and brag to everyone how desirable he is. He won’t acknowledge the fact that Molly isn’t really interested in him she is just interested in the gold she thought she could get out of him. I bet that he will use this as something to try and hurt me with as well.”Andromeda knew that Ted was to stupid to see that Molly wasn’t really interested in him and the man would be telling everyone he knew about how another pureblood woman wanted him.

“Maybe the pair of them will get married and live together at Ted’s parents house.”Narcissa smiled when Hermione once again laughed along with her sisters.”I like that she joins in on our laughter.”

“She wants to be a part of what we are doing.”Bellatrix liked that Hermione laughed with them. 

“Well she is adorable.”Andromeda gave Hermione a kiss on the forehead.

“What did the press say about us?”Narcissa asked

“The few papers I read listed all the questions Molly asked and all of our answers. In more than one article they cross referenced one of Molly’s many claims for each question to prove Molly was lying. Even when they were suppose to be impartial none of them held back their opinion on things. It wasn’t outright said they thought the woman was a pitiful liar but the way things were worded implied it heavily. Even the trash rags are in our favor.”Bellatrix didn’t think that anyone could turn this event against them.”A couple mentioned the offer to let Ted question us and us question him back after we all took a truth potion. I think he is going to be hounded until he agrees.”

“Which he will never do.”Andromeda didn’t have to be a seer to know that Ted would never agree to drink a truth potion and be questioned.

“I wonder how he is going to pay for a lawyer now that Molly has made such a fool of herself. I mean even the few supporters she had had to have jumped ship. That means she has no one to give her gold to help Ted.”Narcissa didn’t think Molly would get gold from anyone for any reason.

“I think if Ted keeps this up we should sue him for making all these claims against us. It is against the law to do so as it is considered defamation of character. We have all the newspaper articles to prove he did it.”Bellatrix thought it was a good idea.

“We should do the same for Molly if she keeps it up as well. Then sue the newspapers who are printing the lies.”Andromeda liked this idea.

“I think we should be proactive. Right now the media and public love us. It’s the best time to file a lawsuit with them backing us.”Narcissa also liked this idea.

“We should set up a meeting with our lawyer as soon as possible then.”Bellatrix was glad her sisters agreed.

“To piss them right off I think we should sue each of them for one piece of gold. That way they can’t say the only thing we are after was their gold. It will prove we just wanted them to admit they are lying.”Andromeda said.

“Defamation suits involve the defendant and the one who made the claim taking a truth potion before giving their testimony. That will make it official.”Narcissa didn’t think anyone could deny that Ted and Molly were liars after that.

“The newspapers we sue for more though. I want them to really feel the consequences of going against the Black sisters.”Bellatrix wanted to put a couple publications out of business when she was done with them.

“I wouldn’t mind adding some more gold to my vault.”Andromeda would happily take gold from the press.

“I would like to open my own vault but I don’t want Lucius’ bastard to get anything if he actually succeeded in suing me for the contents of the Malfoy vault.”Narcissa didn’t even want to chance it.

“I didn’t think of that. We will just have it all go to Andy’s vault.”Bellatrix didn’t want it to go to Lucius’ bastard either. Bellatrix took a seat on the couch next to Narcissa and put the newspapers she was holding on the side table.”Now it’s my turn to hold Hermione.”

Andromeda didn’t fight Bellatrix as she had Hermione most of the morning and handed the baby to her.”When do you both have to testify again?”

“I’m expected to go in a week and a half but I’m going to go watch Bella’s testimony as well.”Narcissa and Bellatrix decided not to go to every day of the trials. They were just going when either one of them was going to be testifying.

“I’m going to go watch Cissa.”Bellatrix wouldn’t leave her sister alone.

“I guess I will babysit Hermione by myself for those two days.”Andromeda was very excited by the prospect.

“I don’t like it but that is just how it has worked out.”Narcissa would prefer that she be the one watching Hermione by herself.

“It’s just another reason to hate the Dark Lord.”Bellatrix said.

“We have so many already.”Andromeda predicted they would have many more in the future.

Narcissa stood from her seat.“I’m going to go write a letter to our lawyer.”

“I’m going to go to my room and grab all the newspapers we collected with Ted’s interviews in them. That way we are prepared.”Andromeda only kept them because she figured she would need them as evidence against Ted for whatever reason she was facing him in court. The fact they would be facing off in court was a given. Andromeda just didn’t know what the exact reason would be.

“I’ll be here with Hermione and Dora.”Bellatrix wasn’t going to move. She hoped that Hermione would fall asleep so she would have longer to hold her.

“Dora I’m going to my room if you need me.”Andromeda told her.

“Yup.”Nymphadora replied absentmindedly.

Andromeda shook her head as she stood.”I don’t know if the tv is good for her or not.”

“She’s fine.”Bellatrix didn’t think the tv was a bad thing.

“I’ll be back.”Andromeda didn’t wait for a reply before leaving the room. She would talk to Jean and Denis about the tv later. They would know how much to let Nymphadora watch it. In the mean time she needed to collect the evidence she needed to win a lawsuit against her ex-husband. Andromeda had thought Ted was the perfect choice to be her husband but due to his actions since her moving out of the home she shared with him she wished she picked someone else. She naively thought because he was lazy and stupid he would let her go easily. She should have known better. It was obvious Ted would fight. He was losing everything and was fighting to keep the lifestyle he was accustom to. A lifestyle he was not currently living while staying with his parents and refusing to get a job. Andromeda had gotten a couple bills from shops Ted bought from that she returned with a polite letter explaining they were divorced and she would not be paying for his expenses. Ted had actually accused her of having his belongings repossessed because those shops had demanded payment or the items had to be returned. If they weren’t Ted would have been arrested for theft. Andromeda was a little upset he wasn’t arrested. It didn’t matter though. She and her sisters would get their justice when Ted was forced to drink a truth potion and answer questions in front a large audience. Just thinking about it made her smile.
