Ticket To Paradise 3
Added 2025-04-16 15:53:19 +0000 UTC“Tanya, Kate, Irina?!”Rosalie exclaimed in shock seeing the mated triad sitting in three comfortable looking seats on the plane Rosalie boarded to go to Eden. Not that Rosalie thought the plane should be called a plane. It was more like a spaceship with it’s odd outside shape and all the futurist technology she saw on the inside. Looking around Rosalie noticed that there were about 50 other people on the plane. From the sounds and smells they were a diverse group of vampires, shifters and even humans. Some families with children as well. Two of those children being babies. The thing they all had in common was the look of hopefully excitement on each of their faces. It was obvious that most were nervous but it seemed they all saw this as a chance for a better life. It made Rosalie wonder what their stories were. She would worry about that later though. First she wanted to find out about the Denali.
“We saved you a seat Rosalie.”Irina patted the seat next to her.
Rosalie took the seat pleased to find she was right. It was very comfortable.”When we talked you guys said you weren’t going to apply.”
“We were hiding it from Eleazar and Carmen.”Tanya told her.
“Why would you hide it from the pair? I thought they wanted to go.”Rosalie had remembered the couple’s excitement speaking about being able to live in Eden.
“They wanted to go so they could spy for the kings and their allies.”Kate said.
“What do you mean?”Rosalie didn’t think that Eleazar or Carmen would spy for the kings.
“Eleazar and Carmen may have not lived in the castle long but they were hard core Volturi loyalist. They are the reason we are so strict about following the rules. If we didn’t they would turn us in in a heart beat.”Of that Irina had no doubt.
“Eleazar is extremely close to Aro. The pair both have a fascination with gifted vampires. The only reason Eleazar and Carmen ever moved in with us is because Eleazar couldn’t be around so many gifted vampires with it not giving him problems because of his own gift. That and they didn’t want to be nomads. With us living away from civilization he didn’t have to worry about his gift being triggered by anyone but Kate.”Tanya explained.
“So he wanted to go to Eden so he could spy for Aro?”Rosalie could understand Eleazar not being able to live in the castle with his gift. Well before the guard left that is.
Kate nodded.”Eleazar encouraged us to apply as well so if we got accepted we could be spies for them.”
“We however were not going to do that. We saw Eden as our chance to finally be free to live our lives without the threat of death if we even looked at the kings the wrong way.”Irina wasn’t going to waste a chance for her and her mates to be free of the kings and the rest of the bullshit they had been forced to live with for the past thousand years.
“I don’t get how the kings expect anyone to spy. I mean the only communication anyone has had with Eden is when they put out their decrees. That and when they emailed everyone to let them know they were accepted. I doubt that any of them are smarter than the people who live there.”Rosalie thought if they were they would have gotten past the shield already.
“They aren’t.”Jane said as she, Athenodora and Didyme entered the plane. Didyme was carrying someone’s left arm.
“Whose arm is that?”A random woman asked. Her voice laced with shock.
Didyme held up the arm.”This is a prize I took from a left handed vampire who loves to play the piano. It’s a gift for our leader.”
“You took Edward’s arm?”Rosalie wished she was the one who took it.
“He seemed to think he could beat me in a fight. I happily proved him wrong.”Didyme enjoyed beating on Edward.
“While I took Carlisle’s limbs I didn’t feel like keeping any.”Athenodora didn’t really care about Carlisle.
“If you took his limbs where is he now?”Tanya hoped he wasn’t going with them.
“I had one of the guards gag both of them then pack him and Edward along with their removed limbs in a box. She is then going to send that box through the mail back to their home.”Jane smiled when most of the passengers laughed.
“I almost wish I could stay just to witness the fallout of that.”Kate would have loved to taunt the pair over their failure.
“All that will happen is the pair will scream and yell about how they were wronged. They won’t ever admit they lost fair and square and will say that the former queens cheated.”Rosalie knew exactly what would happen.
“You are most likely right. Not that it matters. We all know what really happened. Plus our leader will be extremely happy to get his arm. We were told not to target the Cullens because of our grudge against them but they said if the opportunity arose to have no mercy as long as we didn’t kill any of them.”Didyme knew that her gift would be appreciated.
“Why do you have a grudge against the Cullens?”Irina asked.
”You’ll find out the answer to that question when we get to Eden.”Jane told her.
“What do you mean by that?”Rosalie didn’t understand why anyone in Eden would have a grudge against the Cullens. Before anyone could reply a female voice came over the speakers.
“Everyone we have finished loading the plane. So if you would please take a seat and secure yourselves we can begin take off. Supernaturals need to secure themselves as well. The seatbelts will hold all species. That being said it will take about 6 hours to get to Eden.”The female pilot’s voice said over the speakers.
“Why do we need to secure ourselves as well?”Kate didn’t think that vampires would have to worry about being secure in a plane.
“You’ll see.”Athenodora said as she took a seat and fastened her seatbelt.
Didyme took a seat next to her with Jane on the other side of her both putting their seatbelts on.”The answer to that question coincides with our flight time.”
“I noticed she only said six hours.”Tanya thought that was way too short of a flight.
“This plane isn’t built like the ones you are used to.”Jane told her.
“Do we have a lot of new technology to look forward to in Eden?”Irina was a huge tech nerd and loved computers and gadgets.
“More than you could dream of. Most of it invented by our leader.”Athenodora was beyond amazed with the things they came up with all the time.
“Will we get to meet the leader?”Rosalie was curious about who was behind such incredible feats.
“The four of you will be taken to them as soon as we get off the plane.”Didyme expected the four women would get many privileges once they settled in.
“Why is that?”Tanya wasn’t sure she liked having the attention of Eden’s leader.
Jane caught on to what Tanya was thinking.”Not for anything bad. If anything you will be treated like a visiting royal.”
“I think that is the best way to explain it.”Athenodora held up a hand.”We will tell you no more because it is not our story to tell.”
“Alright.”Tanya wanted to push but really didn’t have the authority to demand answers.
Rosalie opened her mouth to say something when suddenly a screen appeared in the air in front of her. Gasps of shock had her looking around seeing there were screens in front of everyone else as well.”What is this?”
“Safety and instruction video.”Jane told her.
“Neat.”Irina poked her finger at the screen. Her eyes widened when it went through the screen that looked completely solid.”How is that possible?”
“Pay attention.”Tanya hissed. She didn’t want any of them to miss anything important. Watching the video Tanya realized just how far behind the rest of the world was from Eden. The many different features available for her seat alone had her almost overwhelmed. She wasn’t sure how she would react when they went to Eden.
“It said that they have refreshments for all supernaturals. Does that mean they will have animal blood for us?”Rosalie didn’t understand why that comment made not only Jane laugh but Athenodora as well.
Didyme smacked her mate on the arm.”Be nice they don’t know any better.”
“What’s so funny?”Kate asked.
“Vampires in Eden don’t drink human or animal blood.”Jane corrected herself.”Well some do but it’s regulated and the humans give their full consent before they allow vampires to drink from them.”
Irina pulled her attention away from her seat when she heard that.“Humans let vampires kill them?”
“We have created a way for vampires to safely feed from humans without killing them. As a matter of fact it is illegal for a vampire to kill a human in Eden.”Didyme fully supported that law.
“You said that vampires don’t feed from humans or animals. How do they feed then?”Tanya would think about feeding from humans without killing them later. She needed to first find out how they were going to survive.
“Our leader created a synthetic blood years before they started liberating supernaturals. Over the years they have improved on it. Those improvements including creating different types that taste like human food.”Jane smiled at the looks of shock she was getting from not only the Denali and Rosalie but the other vampires that were listening to the conversation.
“That can’t be true.”A long haired female vampire said.
“It’s very true and something you can sample in a few minutes once the plane starts to really get moving.”Didyme was happy that these vampires who she knew had been living hard lives were going to get a bit of their humanity back.
“How will we be able to get it when we get to Eden?”A bald male vampire asked.
“It will be available everywhere. Including bars and restaurants. You will also be given a certain quantity every week for free. You get to pick what flavors you want for that.”Athenodora told him.
“We are going to be given blood for free?”Kate would have charged everyone through the roof for something so amazing.
“When our leader had the idea for Eden they wanted it to be a safe haven for supernaturals. Someplace that they didn’t have to worry about hiding who they were where they were safe and had their needs taken care of. One of the main things they were focused on was vampires never having to worry about how they were going to feed. That being the case they arranged for Eden’s vampire population to receive enough blood every week that they can more than survive. They personal will give you more if you have a good excuse or you catch them on a good day.”Didyme explained.
“What do they offer for shifters?”A very tall well built man sitting next to two young children and a woman asked.
“I think the shifters have it better than the vampires.”Jane grumbled.
“You are just upset that you were banned from the best hunting grounds.”Athenodora knew Jane was just a sore loser.
Didyme cut in to stop an argument.”What Eden has for shifters is there are many places set up on the continent that have nature reserves. On those reserves animals are kept so that shifter communities can go hunting or just spend time in nature. Other than that each shifter is given a weekly stipend to cover individual food costs or in the case of children their parents are given their stipends until they turn 18 years old. It is also perfectly normal for a shifter to be out in public in their animal form. There are also shifter sports leagues. In Eden shifters are encouraged to express themselves any way they can even if that includes giving into their violent natures. As long as they do so in a safe environment and everyone willingly consents to be involved.”
“Will we be forced to join another pack?”The woman in the row the man who asked the first question asked.
“No, not many shifters actually stay with a pack. Some enjoy the dynamic but most live with their families on their own.”Jane told her.
The woman sighed in relief.”Good.”
“I don’t know what your situation was before you got on this plane but in Eden pack alphas have to do regular check ins with a government appointed official. They make sure that no one is being abused. Some alphas have thought that they didn’t have to the follow those rules and learned the hard way that our leader is not very forgiving to those who hurt their people.”Athenodora had been involved in a few of those punishments and enjoyed herself immensely.
“It was not a good situation and it is only because of the people that were sent to get us that we were allowed to leave without being hurt or killed.”The man told her.
“That’s not something you will have to worry about in Eden.”Didyme assured him. Before anymore questions could be asked four stewardess came from the back of the plane pushing two large drink carts down the aisles.
“Those are huge carts.”Kate had never seen a drink cart on a plane that big.
“We not only provide drinks but meals as well for shifters and humans.”The human male stewardess told her as he pushed his cart to the front of the plane where Kate was sitting.”Can I get you something to drink?”
“What flavored blood do you have?”Irina asked.
“We have chocolate, peanut butter chocolate, orange chicken, lemon, apple cider, cinnamon bun, lobster, roast beef and one that was requested to be given to you Ms.Hale orange creamsicle.”The man listed off.
“Who would request blood for me?”Rosalie couldn’t think of a reason why someone one would request blood for her. She was interested in the flavor though. It had been Bella’s favorite treat when she was a human and Rosalie had always wanted the opportunity to try it. She had actually asked Bella what it tasted like one time and the description the human gave had Rosalie so aroused that she had spent many hours after Bella left in her room with her door locked bringing herself to multiple orgasms thinking about it.
The man handed her the bottle.”I’m not at liberty to say ma’am.”
“Well I’ll have lobster.”Irina was curious what that would taste like.
“I’ll have peanut butter chocolate.”Kate knew that those two flavors were popular amongst humans.
“I will have apple cider.”Tanya had a blurry memory of eating apples when she was human and wanted to see what they tasted as good as she remembered.
The man pulled out four bottles from the cart and handed them to the women.”Here you go.”
“Thank you.”Rosalie took the lid off the bottle and sniffed the liquid. It didn’t smell bad which gave her the courage to drink the blood. She was extremely happy she did when the first drops hit her tongue and she tasted the flavor that Bella had described all those decades ago. Just knowing that she was tasting Bella’s favorite treat had her eyes filling with venom tears thinking about the fact that they would never get to enjoy it together like Rosalie always wanted.
“This is fucking awesome.”Kate had never tasted anything as good as the blood she just drank.
“Mine is good too.”Irina thought it tasted better than human blood.
“I can’t believe how amazing this taste.”Tanya figured based on the other exclamations of surprise she heard that she and her mates weren’t the only ones who enjoyed it. She turned her attention to Jane and the queens who were drinking their own bottles.”How did your leader come up with this?”
“They were extremely smart when they were younger and went to many highly accredited universities to study. After their schooling they worked in the human world gaining more skills that led to them developing the synthetic blood. They didn’t make the first flavored kind until they settled in Eden and they were able to set up top of the line labs and workstations and finally had time to devote to it.”Didyme remembered how excited she was when she tried the first flavor. It made all the fighting to build Eden worth it because it was proof of the better life their leader had promised them.
“How long have you had this?”Rosalie asked once she regained her composure. She was taking her time drinking the blood however because she wanted to savor it.
“They made their first flavor about four decades ago and has continued adding new ones regularly.”Jane told her.
“You have had flavored blood for forty years?”Tanya hated that she hadn’t been involved in the rebellion because if she had been she and her mates would have reaped many benefits based on the little they learned about Eden so far.
“Yes and now there are over a hundred different flavors available.”Athenodora liked to be involved in the taste testing of the new flavors because even if they were gross it was fun tasting new things after spending thousands of years just drinking human blood.
“Why hasn’t Eden shared anything with the rest of the world? They could make a lot of money off of the blood alone. The technology on this plane is even more valuable.”Irina couldn’t figure that part out. Eden would be a world leader in many things if they integrated with the rest of the world.
“The rest of the world doesn’t deserve to benefit from not only our leader’s achievements but the rest of the bright minds in Eden’s achievements as well.”Seeing that answer wasn’t satisfying the many people paying attention to their conversation Athenodora tried to explain it a different way.”Our leader’s original army consisted of a bunch of supernaturals and humans who were all living in horrible conditions and being treated poorly by others.”
A female shifter cut Athenodora off.“Wait did you say humans?”.
“Yes the original army had a lot of humans in it.”Athenodora told her.
“Why did they allow humans to join?”Kate couldn’t think of a reason supernaturals would team up with humans.
“Our leader doesn’t discriminate. They didn’t care that it was humans they were saving. All they cared about was they needed to be saved. So they equipped them with weapons they developed that would kill vampires and allowed them the opportunity to join the fight. Anyone even the supernaturals were given the option to not fight and those who didn’t were allowed to fill other roles in the rebellion.”Athenodora appreciated being given a choice.
“Not everyone fought?”Tanya knew the kings wouldn’t have let anyone sit on the sidelines.
“Even some of the Volturi guards that were freed didn’t fight. My brother being one of them.”Jane was actually happy that Alec didn’t fight because she knew how much it upset her brother when he hurt someone.
“Shit.”Kate couldn’t believe one of the witch twins wasn’t on the front lines.
“We have gotten off topic. I was telling you why Eden is closed off to the world. It’s because like the people our leader gathered to create their army in the beginning most of the people they collected along the way had all come from bad situations. So when they planned to create Eden they had always planned to shut it away from the rest of the world to keep all those bad people who hurt their followers and the governments that would try to take Eden over by force from ever harming it’s inhabitants. Something that all of us are thankful for because we don’t have to worry about the kings sending people after us or a senseless war being started over silly things. So to answer your question. All those people who have wronged most of us are still alive and we not only don’t want them to bother us but they don’t deserve to benefit off of the work of those they had wronged. Especially our leader who they attacked before they formed their army and continues to attack with their constant attempts at getting through the shield.”Athenodora told her.
“Getting away from the kings is why we wanted to move to Eden.”Tanya had felt a huge sense of relief when they got the email telling them they were accepted.
“I’m getting away from my ex wife who was extremely abusive to me and my kids.”A human man who was sitting with three children who looked to be from ages 8 to late teens.”I went to the police but they dismissed me every time because she is a woman and I’m a man. Eden was our last hope.”
“You will never have to worry about her again.”Didyme was very happy with the picks for those that got an invitation to live in Eden. The human man and his three children looked like they had the weight of the world on their shoulders but each had a glimmer of hope in their eyes. Just like all the other people that were picked as each was selected due to their living situations. The worse they were the most likely they were to get chosen.
“Thank god.”The teenager said.
“Are we ever going to find out about the shield?”Irina was most interested in how such a thing was possible as the rest of the world couldn’t even manage small shields of the same type.
“How the shield works is highly classified information and I doubt even you will be told how it works.”Athenodora knew Rosalie would be told but doubted the Denali would.
“That sucks.”Kate understood the reason for it being kept a secret but wanted to know how it protected a full continent.
“Why don’t you guys take advantage of the flight to play with your seats. We will be in Eden before you know it and you won’t have the chance to relax while you are going through orientation.”Athenodora suggested as she took the ear buds out of the compartment on her chair. The compartment cleaned them every time they were stored so she wasn’t worried about them being dirty because they were used.
“I think I’m going to get some more blood.”Irina wanted to try a different flavor.
“They stocked a lot extra because they figured you would all want to try more than one.”Jane told her as she took her own ear buds from her seat.
“I think I will as well then.”Rosalie didn’t think it would be as good as the orange creamsicle one but she wanted to experience new flavors. Waiting for the stewardess to come Rosalie thought over everything Jane and the former queens told them. It seemed to her that Eden’s leader was a good person. They had saved a lot of people who were in bad situations. The Volturi guard being some of those people. It was surprising they helped humans and even more surprising that they didn’t force anyone to fight. Especially people like Alec who would be very formable on the battle field. It just showed that they actually cared about their followers. The followers Rosalie had met so far had seemed to speak about them almost like they were a god. Rosalie wasn’t sure that she would be willing to worship anyone but the inhabitants of Eden she encountered did seem extremely happy. Jane wasn’t without a smile on her face this whole time. It made Rosalie hopeful that she too would find some type of happiness in Eden. With the Denali triad coming as well it seemed like that was a definite possibility.
