To Turn Back Time 6

“Based on the sound of multiple screams moving away from the house it seems that all five Cullens have been staking out the place.” Kate said as Isabella made her way down the stairs after turning on her stereo. The Denali had spilt up after training with some going with Isabella to get some food and essentials from the store and the other group guarded Charlie’s house. That being something they all decided was important because if left unattended the Cullens would wreck the place looking for the evidence Isabella told them about. Isabella wasn’t worried about it though. The evidence was in her bunker. Due to their actions she didn’t keep anything personal or important in her room. One of the Cullens would either steal it or break it so Isabella didn’t want to risk it.

“I’m going to email some videos to Jasper later.”Isabella ignored the face Irina made as she took a seat on the couch and laid her food on the coffee table.

“That’s a good idea. He’s the only one who will take the threat seriously.”Tanya said.

“Alright I have got to know where are these cameras that the Cullens didn’t detect?”Emmet asked.

Isabella pointed to ceiling in the corner of the room.”There is one in every corner of the room in each room of the house including Charlie’s.”

“Seriously?”Emmet did see anything. Making his way over to the corner he put his face as close as he could get to the wall but there wasn’t anything there but a speck of dirt.”There is only dirt.”

“That’s not dirt. That’s the camera.”Isabella told him.

“Holy shit.”Emmett tried to focus on it but he couldn’t make out any details.”How did you get it so small?”

“Technology from the future that I modified to adapt to our current technology.”Isabella explained.

“Do you get a lot of things from the future?”Eleazar was very interested in what their futures held for them.

“I get things from the future that I would need for something. Or sometimes just things I like. In the 1800’s I would travel to the 1950’s to buy candy and take it home with me.”Isabella didn’t really travel for personal reasons.

“How did you know about 1950’s candy?”Kate asked.

“My future self brought some back to give me.”Isabella had been happy she did.

“Wait your future self can interact with you?”Rosalie would have thought that would cause problems.

Isabella shook her head.”No we can’t interact with each other but we do have a system. If I want my past self to know something or to give them something I put a note in the pocket of the pants they are going to wear that day. That’s why I knew where the motorcycle was. As soon as Esme said she wasn’t going to give it to us I checked my pocket and found a note my future self left telling me where it was.”

“That’s crazy.”Carmen said.

“So at anytime there could be multiple yous walking around the world at the same time.”Kate concluded.

“It was explained to me that this me is the real me. The one my mother gave birth to. The other ones are fragments of my soul traveling through time leaving their mark.”Isabella told her.”That’s also why every time I have sought Irina I have been me in the present because I didn’t want her to meet just fragment of who I am.”

“That means when I met you in 1832 you were in your present time.”Irina had wondered.

“Yes, I had been in New York at the time when I got a note that told me where to meet you and to bring a lot of money so I could spoil you. I immediately emptied one of my safes of cash and teleported to the town and rented a room. I met you the next day.”Isabella had been overjoyed to see Irina in the new timeline looking so well and seeming to be happy.

“That actually brings something up I wanted to know. Can you grow your hair?”Eleazar asked.

“Yes, my hair grows all over my body and as do my nails grow. I also need to eat, drink fluids and sleep.”Isabella was just like a regular human.

“You really are just like a normal human aren’t you.”Kate would have expected Isabella to have some kind of enhancements.

“Get back to you saying that your gift was explained to you. Who explained it you?”Rosalie wanted to know if there was another time traveler.

“I don’t know if any of you would believe me if I told you.”Isabella said.

“It can’t be that much crazier than what you have already told us.”Kate would believe anything Isabella told them.

“I was visited in my bunker by a woman who looked just like me but she wasn’t one of my future or past selfs. She had the gift to travel to different dimensions.”Isabella was cut off by Emmett.

“Wait we aren’t the only world?”Emmet had so many questions.

“No we are not. That Isabella visited me because she could see our world ripple numerous times and wanted to know why. When she found out that I was a time traveler she explained the timeline and how I effected it. She also confirmed that I was the only time travel in existence and that every dimension’s Isabella had some kind of gift that could impact the world in great ways. She told me about one that had been born with wings that the humans and supernaturals treated her like a god. Another who was a vampire lycan hybrid who could control her shifts and had united all supernatural species under her rule. There a many others.”Isabella told them.

“It seems like no matter where or when you are born you were destine for greatness.”Irina felt honored that she was mated to Isabella.”Are we always mates in those dimensions?

“You aren’t always a vampire but we always end up together.”Isabella was happy about that.

“She said she saw ripples around our dimension. What exactly happens when you make a change to the timeline?”Eleazar would be asking Isabella questions about different dimensions later.

“It gets erased. So there is no alternate timeline right now were the Romanians had won. Everything and everyone from that timeline don’t exist anymore. That’s what happened with the other ones as well. The other Isabella said that I was given the gift because the gods knew I would lessen the suffering in the world and to not be afraid of the consequences of changing things. After that I gave her a tour of my bunker and showed her the things I collected from my travels then she left with a promise to come back again.”Isabella was looking forward to that future visit.

“Can she travel with people?”Kate wanted to go to different dimensions.”Can you travel with people?”

“No neither of us can travel with people.”Isabella wouldn’t take anyone even if she could. Who knows what kind of disaster someone else could cause to the timeline.

“It’s kind of weird thinking about all those people who don’t exist anymore.”Rosalie couldn’t wrap her mind around the fact that entire timelines filled with people just stopped existing.

“If the timeline you were born in doesn’t exist anymore how were you born?”Tanya asked.

“My origins are still the same. I’m an anomaly in the timeline. However I’ve found in my travels that even if the parents are different the same people get born every timeline. Like with you Tanya. I have seen you have four different set of parents but you always end up looking exactly the same with the same personalty.”Isabella told her.

“That makes me feel less bad about all those other timelines being erased.”Carmen said.

Isabella took a bite of her burger groaning at how good it tasted.”God it’s been to long since I’ve had a burger.”

“Why didn’t you just teleport to Burger King and get yourself one?”That’s what Kate would have done.

“The Cullens monitor my every move. Edward stands under my window at night while I’m sleeping. He and Alice had snuck in twice but I stopped that by putting in a security alarm that he set off the night it was installed. That stopped him from trying.”Isabella was still surprised that Edward didn’t confront her about it.

“They are a bunch of creeps.”Rosalie would have done more than put in an alarm if she was Isabella.

Isabella popped some onion rings in her mouth.”Those two were plastered to my side every minute of the day. Then there was Esme who was convinced I was going to be the child she always wanted. Not just any child but the one she had dreamed about. She was constantly trying to correct my behavior and had me on a strict diet going so far as sending lunches with Alice and Edward so I didn’t eat the food they served at school. She once told me how happy she was I was human because I could give her grandkids.”

“She was planning on you having kids?”Tanya knew the Cullens were bold but raising a human child was a serious crime.

“Oh yeah she even showed me sketches of the nursery. I went off on her about it but she like always brushed me off and said after I spent more time with Edward and the bond fell into place I would understand her wanting to be a mother.”Isabella had just left the room instead of arguing.

“Speaking of being a mother. Were you being serious about me being one?”Rosalie hoped Isabella was.

Isabella took a sip of her milkshake.”I am very serious about it. Unfortunately it won’t happen until we deal with the Cullens after Edward goes to Italy.”

“How is it possible for a vampire to have a child?”Eleazar asked.

“I mentioned to Emmet and Kate that the three of us would travel around the world taking care of some lawbreakers before the Volturi got involved. One of those law breakers is a vampire creating human vampire hybrids.”Seeing the confusion Isabella explained.”A male vampire can get a human woman pregnant. Thus creating a vampire human hybrid child.”

“That’s horrific. Those poor women.”Irina couldn’t imagine what the humans went through.

“Yes it is very horrific. The humans don’t survive child birth. How this coincides with Rosalie having a child is that myself, Emmet and Kate are going to kill the vampire after he creates his first one. Then I was hoping you Rose would be willing to adopt the child and raise it.”Isabella said.

“I am more than willing to raise the child.”Rosalie would love the child just like it was her own.

“Why don’t you stop him before he creates the first one?”Tanya would think Isabella would want to save the human.

“He is very close friends with a vampire that would come looking for him if he went missing and when he found him gone would go to the Volturi and tell them all about the man’s experiments. I don’t have to tell you how bad it would be if they got that information. It’s because of that we have to wait until the pair get into a fight that gets physical that the friend loses an arm in and breaks off all contact with the scientist. He never tries to reach out to him again. That happens after the first woman gets pregnant.”Isabella explained.

“How do you even take care of a hybrid child?”Kate asked.

“They are pretty easy to take care of. They can survive on human food or either human blood or animal blood. They grow at an accelerated rate and are fully developed both mentally and physically when they turn 6. They are immortal and have vampire attributes but not to the level of a full vampire. Meaning they aren’t as fast or strong. Things like that. I can’t think of anything else right now but if I do I’ll let you know.”Isabella had a book in her bunker about them she would give to Rosalie.

“When is this going to happen?”Tanya wanted time to prepare the house and add on some rooms for the child.

“3 years from now. After the Cullens and Volturi are dealt with.”Isabella told her.

“I thought taking care of Victoria, Laurent and the newborn army was taking care of the Volturi.”Emmet said.

“That will stop the Volturi from finding out about me. We will have to deal with them one last time before they leave us alone.”Isabella was looking forward to it being done with.

“Why didn’t you tell us this before?”Tanya was upset Isabella didn’t mention they were going to be dealing with the Volturi in the future.

“It just hasn’t come up yet. You guys kept asking me questions about the past. We haven’t even gone over the fight with Victoria, Laurent and the newborns.”Isabella hadn’t gotten a chance to tell them anything important.

“That’s kind of true. We have been asking you a lot of questions.”Kate could see how Isabella didn’t get a chance to really tell them anything.

“Well let’s start with the Volturi. Why are we targeted by them?”Tanya thought that was the most important thing to talk about.

“After Edward goes to Italy Carlisle becomes distraught when Alice has a vision of what happens to him. Carlisle knows he can’t do anything about it. Needing to get away from the family houses the Cullens go to Alaska where we reveal that I am very much alive and am Irina’s mate. Initially Carlisle is overjoyed because he thinks that I will go and save Edward. When I tell him I’m not going to do it he becomes enraged and goes to Italy to report you guys for a false mate bond and keeping a human alive without changing or killing them.”Isabella is cut off by Irina.

“Won’t that expose you to Aro though?”Irina thought the whole point of faking her death was to make Aro believe she was dead.

“No because Aro won’t see anything. While the four Cullens are here I’m going to give them the blocks without them knowing.”Isabella smirked when understanding dawned on the Denali’s faces.

“And if they have the block they are immune to Aro’s gift.”Kate concluded.

“Aro will want to know how they blocking him and Carlisle will deny knowing how. Aro of course won’t believe him and your names will be brought up. That’s when Carlisle will make his claims but without Aro being able to read him Carlisle will have no proof. How you guys are involved is you will get a summons to Italy where Aro will ask all you about the blocks and you will tell him a friend of Carlisle’s did it for you and asked that he not tell Edward about it because he didn’t want to make him feel useless without his gift working.”Isabella told them.

“Will Aro actually believe that though?”It was a good plan Rosalie just didn’t know if it would work.

“He will because he has been foaming at the mouth to get his hands on Alice and Jasper. He also knows that Edward wasn’t my mate and he would have seen Edward’s memories of the crash scene where I’m going to fake my death. Aro will offer Kate a place in the guard but he isn’t really that interested in her and once Kate declines the offer you are all sent on your way. Carlisle is found guilty of facilitating a false mate bond, telling a human about the existence of vampires without changing or killing them and making false accusations against another coven. He and Esme are spared in return for Alice and Jasper’s lifetime of servitude. Alice, Jasper and Esme don’t go with Carlisle to Italy and when Carlisle informs them of their punishment Jasper and Alice go on the run.”Isabella thought it was a fitting punishment.

“I think this is the first time I have ever been excited about seeing Aro. Though why doesn’t he want me?”Kate would figure Aro would be jumping at the chance to get her.

“Your gift is useless to him because he thinks you can only protect yourself with it. When he first met you he saw potential. After so long and you making no progress gives him the false belief that you will never improve.”Isabella knew Kate had lot of room to improve.

“When do you think you can start training me?”Kate wanted to start right away.

“We need to find a large clearing and a bunch of rubber practice dummies so you don’t set anything on fire.”Isabella didn’t need Kate burning down the forest.

“I’ll be able to set things on fire?”Kate was now even more excited to start her training.

“With your gift I’ve seen you light multiple vampires on fire at the same time.”Isabella liked to watch Katie go all out with her gift.

Kate rubbed her hands together.”Where do we get these dummies?”

“We will have to do it tomorrow because the store will be closed by the time we get to it.”Isabella told her.

“I wish I had a cool gift.”Emmet had always been jealous of gifted vampires.

“You do have a gift.”Seeing the look Emmet was giving her Isabella explained.”It not a traditional gift but you have enhanced strength. With proper training you could be a better fight than Felix who is actually weaker than you.”

“I’m stronger than Felix?”Emmet wasn’t sure he believed that. Felix was said to be the strongest vampire alive.

Isabella finished off the last of her onion rings. Looking at the empty container she sighed.”I should have gotten more onion rings.”

“Do you want me to go get you some?”Irina would happily go get Isabella onion rings if her mate wanted them.

“No that’s alright. There is some ice cream in the freezer I’ll eat when I get hungry.”Isabella wasn’t going to make Irina go out of her way for her.

“Back to my strength.”Emmet wanted to know more about himself.

“You are a lot stronger than Felix and the only reason he would win a fight against you is you have been training like you were a regular vampire not like the strongest vampire alive should be training.”Isabella told him.

“Do you have any tips on how I should train?”Emmet didn’t know where start with training for his strength.

“When we get some free time I can help you. I’ve perfect person train you because you can’t hurt me. Plus I’ve trained with you before.”Isabella had trained with every member of the family.

“Yes!!”Emmet cheered.

“That will have to wait until at least tomorrow. What time will the human you live with get home?”Tanya asked.

“He’s off blowing through some more of the money from my fake trust that he is the executor of so I don’t expect him back for at least a week and a half.”Isabella preferred Charlie not there.

“He’s spending money from your personal trust fund?”Irina was appalled that the man would steal the money from what was considered an orphan.

“Once he signed the paperwork he went out and bought that television and the recliner. He also got a bunch of fancy new clothes, A new bedroom set, a boat and tons of fishing gear.”Isabella expected Charlie to have everything spent in the next two months.

“Does he at least provide for you?”From what she had heard and seen Rosalie was not impressed with Charlie.

“He gives me the bare minimum to buy food and nothing else.”Isabella jumped up from the couch and put her arms around Irina when she heard her growl.”It’s no big deal. I have plenty of money to buy whatever I want. I could care less what Charlie does with the measly half a million I put in the account. I consider it payment for forcing him to take me in.”

“That is true isn’t it. You kind of forced yourself into his life.”Carmen still didn’t think it was right for Charlie to spend the money.

“He was the perfect choice. A lifetime bachelor, who works too much and spends most of his time fishing. He keeps to himself and has exactly two friends. He was unlikely to actually take an interest in my life or try and control my movements. Any other suitable people would have tried to make me part of the family and I didn’t want that.”Isabella thought Charlie was the best candidate.

Hearing about Isabella being a part of a family brought with it an earlier thought Tanya had about Isabella having any parental figures in her life.”Have you ever had anyone other than us that you considered family?”

“The people on the reservation I consider family. Other than that I haven’t really made any kind of connections because I never know how long that person will exist. It’s especially hard getting to know people over and over again. I’m still a stranger to each of you but I have lived many lifetimes with each of you and all of you are basically the same person with the same look and personalities. Except Rosalie who was understandably a very angry, bitter person who hated the world the first time I met her.”After her first conversation with Rosalie Isabella excused herself from the room and traveled back to change Rosalie’s timeline.

“I probably couldn’t have been anything else if I was changed after such a horrific event.”Rosalie was surprised she didn’t kill Carlisle and Edward after she woke up.

“If you think about it it’s actually kind of sad you keep making these connections with people only for them to disappear forever.”Kate wasn’t so sure she wanted to be a time traveler anymore. She didn’t think she could handle so many people she cared about disappearing out of her life.

Isabella kissed Irina softly and went back to sit on the couch.”It is what is.”

“How much sleep do you need?”Irina noticed that Isabella was looking tired.

“It depends on how much I eat and how much energy I burn.”Isabella told her.

“Why would how much you eat affect your sleep?”Eleazar asked.

“My body isn’t completely the same as a human’s. My gifts require a lot of energy to use and my shields are constantly active. That being the case I have to eat a lot of food to regain energy. Based on the amount I consume depends on how much sleep I need to regain the rest. I have actually gone over a week without needing to sleep because I consumed large amounts of food at regular intervals. The Cullens have been watching me closely and after seeing how much I eat Esme put me on diet so I have sleeping a lot more.”Isabella preferred not sleeping.

“What was her reason for putting you on a diet?”Carmen hoped that Isabella would let her cook for her when she got to Alaska.

“She said the amount of food I was eating would make me fat and Edward wouldn’t accept a fat wife.”Isabella had argued but Esme had taken to stealing food out of the fridge at Charlie’s.”I’m actually surprised there is ice cream in the freezer because she usually comes over and steals any food she thinks is unhealthy.”

“The Cullens are fucking crazy.”Kate didn’t know how they never noticed how insane the family was.

“That I agree on. I just hope that you Carmen love to cook as much as you do in the other timelines because I would kill the kings to get a pan full of your famous lasagne.”Isabella loved Carmen’s cooking. It was something she always missed.

“I do love cooking and I don’t know what the recipe to my famous lasagne is so you will have to tell me.”Carmen was more than willing to make Isabella some lasagne.

“I have the recipe written down in my bunker. I’ll get it when I collect my other things.”Isabella would get the entire recipe book for Carmen. Isabella yawned.

“I think it’s time to get you in bed.”Irina said.

“You guys can do whatever you want. My shield is still up but if you need to go anywhere I’ll show Irina how to turn off the radio.”Isabella told them as she stood from her seat and held out her hadn’t for a willing Irina to take.

“We will see you in the morning.”Tanya told her.

Isabella gave them a wave before following Irina upstairs calling over her shoulder”Night.”

“Good night.”Kate called back. Once they heard Isabella’s door shut she turned to everyone.”So what do you guys want to do?”

“I want to clean the kitchen. That way I can cook Isabella a proper breakfast.”Carmen wasn’t going to let Isabella get low on energy when she had a way to help her.

“I’ll help you.”Rosalie couldn’t stand things being dirty. She hoped that even thought Isabella was born in a pen the girl had good hygene and at least followed basic cleaning standards.

“I wish there was a clean spot so I could look through that chest.”Tanya was dying to go through Abe’s belongings.

“I hate that Isabella has to sleep.”Emmet wanted to get started on his training.

“She said she doesn’t need to sleep if she eats a lot of food. That means we will have to keep snacks on us at all times.”Kate was going to carry human food with her anytime she was hanging out with Isabella.

“Good idea. I’m going look up the best foods to give a human energy.”Emmet pulled out his phone and started typing.

“I’m going to look for a place that sells rubber training dummies.”Kate pulled her own phone out and started typing.

“I’m going to help my mate.”Eleazar knew it was going to take more two vampires to clean the kitchen. It was that dirty.

“I think I’m going to watch some tv and wait for more threats from the Cullens.”Tanya made her way over to the recliner and took a seat. Grabbing the remote she turned on the tv and lowered the volume so it wouldn’t wake Isabella up. Thinking over the day Tanya decided it had been a good one. Isabella had gotten away from the Cullens and Rosalie and Kate got to beat on Edward. Plus the Denali got an invitation to the reservation. A place the Cullens were forbidden from going to. Isabella said that she considered the people of the reservation family and Tanya wondered how they knew each other. There was also the fact that the original wolves the Cullens met knew about them including their gifts. That made it seem that Isabella had given them that information. If she did it was for a specific reason as Tanya was learning that Isabella didn’t do things on a whim. Tanya would ask her in the morning. For now she was going to let the time traveler sleep. Thinking about the fact that Irina was up in Isabella’s room most likely holding her while she slept made Tanya smile. Irina had mourned the loss of her mate for a long time and it was only fair that she get to spend some time alone with her.
