Silver Assassin Epilogue

“Are you ready?”Rosalie asked Bella. What she really wanted to ask was if Bella was alright but after being mated over a year she had come to learn that one of Bella’s biggest triggers was people asking about her feelings. It had taken a couple months for Rosalie to get out of the habit of just asking when something happened and she now had many new skills to ask indirectly without upsetting Bella. The current concerns for how Bella was feeling was because of where the pair of them were. After going through all the Cullens assets Rosalie, Emmet and Becky decided to go through each property owned by the family and Alice and Jasper, take what they wanted, sell what could be sold and throw out anything left. The had done so with all the properties and storage units except for the one Rosalie, Bella, Jane, Tanya, Kate and Irina were all standing in front of. That one being the one where it all started in Forks, Washington. Emmett and Becky had already gotten what they wanted out it and after Rosalie’s group finished with it it would be sold off like the other properties with the profits split between Rosalie, Emmet and Becky equally.

“We never visited you here.”Tanya would always regret that because if they did show up they could have saved Bella from the false mate bond and protected her from Victoria.

“We were only here for a year and a half.”Rosalie happily took Bella’s bare hand in her own when it was offered to her.”Emmett said it was still here.”

“What’s still here?”Jane asked. She was keeping a close eye on Bella. Although since finding Rosalie and killing the Cullens Bella had mellowed a lot and wasn’t as prone to killing as she was before.

“Edward’s piano. When they were together Edward would make Bella sit with him on the piano bench while he played for hours not even allowing her to talk to him. She told me she wants to smash it.”Rosalie smiled when everyone laughed.

“Hell yeah we will smash it.”Kate would be more than happy to help Bella get some revenge on the Cullens even if the family were dead. After that event the Denali spent some time in the castle with Bella, Rosalie and Jane and then the sisters and the triad traveled through Egypt for two months exploring the pyramids before Rosalie needed to deal with the Cullen family’s assets. Spending so much time together had brought the six women closer and now Kate considered Bella one of her best friends. Tanya had officially invited Bella to be a member of the Denali coven which Bella surprised everyone by taking Tanya’s hand to accept. Now along with the Volturi crest Bella wore a Denali crest around her neck as well.

“I want to smash the bed he bought for you.”Rosalie had wanted to smash it the first time she saw it enter the house.

“We are definitely smashing that.”Irina said.

“Come on then.”Rosalie pulled on Bella’s hand and led her up the deck stairs. She paused to unlock the door then opened it and walked inside. She looked to Bella when she dropped her hand.”What do you think?”

“This place is gaudy. I mean seriously it’s so sterile.”Kate pulled a cover off of the couch in the living room. It revealed a relatively new piece of furniture.”Didn’t you say that none of you came back to Forks?”

“Not that I was told. Then again I wasn’t told much.”Rosalie didn’t usually know when and where they were going to move. She was just told when to pack her stuff.

Kate pulled a sheet off a love seat that matched the couch.”Well this furniture isn’t that old. The other houses had furniture that was from the time period you guys stopped living there.”

“That means they were probably going to come back to Forks.”Jane would ask Aro about it later.

“How would they have pulled that off because that’s not long enough for the humans who knew them to be dead?”Irina knew that in such a small town that the Cullens would be remembered. That was one of the reasons they stopped for gas outside of town so Rosalie wouldn’t be seen.

“Carlisle is arrogant and thought he could do whatever he wanted. I doubt he cared if not enough time passed.”Tanya wouldn’t be surprised if Carlisle was planning on moving back to Forks. He was stupid enough to think he wouldn’t be caught.

“Where’s the piano?”Kate asked after she had uncovered the rest of the furniture and a modern entertainment unit with tv that added more proof of the Cullens coming back.

“In Edward’s music room.”Rosalie told her. She led the group into a room that was filled with different types of instrument cases and a piano that was covered with a felt blanket. She watched as Bella pulled the cover off the piano, took a seat on the bench, open the keys and began to play beautifully. Rosalie was shocked because she didn’t know that Bella knew how to play any instruments.”When did she learn how to play the piano?”

“She’s been playing piano since she was a human child. Her grandmother put her in lessons and Bella kept up with it until she came to Forks. Now she only plays if Didyme asks her to.”Jane enjoyed listening to Bella play the piano but knew it was a sensitive subject with her mate.

“You knew how to play while you were dating Edward?”When Bella nodded in reply Rosalie was even more flabbergasted.”Why didn’t you tell at least him that?”

“Bella did tell Edward she played but he refused to let her touch his piano claiming that she would never be at the level needed to treat the instrument properly.”Jane was still angry that Edward made Bella hate the piano so much.

“Do you play anything else?”Tanya asked earning a nod in reply. Bella finished her song and made her way over to a trumpet case, opened it and pulled out the trumpet and started playing an old school jazz number.”What else does she play?”

“Every instrument in this room except for the harp and that is not because she doesn’t know how it’s because she can’t with her missing fingers.”Jane explained.

“You must of really loved music when you were a human?”Irina said causing Bella to shrug.

“I can’t believe you were so musically inclined and Edward didn’t say anything.”Rosalie would have thought Edward would brag about Bella’s talent.

“I can. Edward thought he was the greatest musician that ever lived and only played the piano. I bet he was jealous of Bella’s talent and that was why he made her feel bad about it.”Kate had many arguments about music with Edward. He didn’t respect other instruments and Kate was honestly surprised he allowed them in the music room.

“If he only played piano who do the other instruments belong to?”Irina asked.

“The rest of the family except for me, Emmet and Becky. We never learned to play anything.”Rosalie was happy she didn’t because Carlisle would have made her play for others like a trained monkey.

“Carlisle probably wanted to keep the talent away from the three of you.”Tanya said.

Once Bella put the trumpet away Kate made her way over to the piano.“Regardless we have a piano to smash.”

“How do you want to do this?”Jane took Bella’s hand in her own and smiled.”Alright that fine.”

“What does she want to do?”Rosalie was interested in how Bella wanted to deal it the piano.

“She wants us to just smash it and once we are done she is going to use her shield and turn it into dust.”Jane thought that a fitting ending for the piano as it was the same one Edward got.

“Cool.”Kate loved seeing Bella turn things into dust with her shield. The pair of them had done a bunch of experiments with Bella’s shield to test the limits much to Tanya and Didyme’s dismay. Letting Bella take the first hit Kate slammed her hand down on the top of the piano causing the legs to buckle. She took a step back to let Rosalie stomp her foot on the pile while Tanya and Irina were breaking pieces with their hands and Jane and Bella were smashing the individual keys. The six of them worked together until all that was left was small scraps of wood, wire and broken keys.”I think we did a good job.”

Rosalie smiled when Bella gave a thumbs up.”I’m glad you think so.”

“Now crush it Bella.”Jane watched as the pile of piano was lifted into the air and pushed together causing it to form smaller pieces until all that was left was dust.

“I love seeing her do that.”Rosalie thought it was hot the way Bella wielded her shield. So hot that many times she dragged Bella away from spending time with Kate and took her to their private rooms where they would spend hours naked together. Bella may have her limitations when it came to how long Rosalie could touch her but she never left Rosalie unsatisfied. Her mate was a selfless lover and Rosalie had no complaints with their sex life.

“You aren’t going anywhere private right now so keep it in your pants.”Kate knew exactly what Rosalie was thinking. The blond was not shy about telling the sisters about her satisfaction with Bella’s bedroom skills.

“Let’s go mess with Edward’s room next.”Rosalie had plans to spend some time with Bella in her old room but first she wanted to deal with Edward’s room.

Jane followed along with the group up two sets of stairs into a room with dark maroon walls, shelves, a large canopy bed and a sliding glass door that led to a balcony.”This place is very dark.”

“Edward actually painted the walls this color after he met Bella because he thought she would like them better than the light blue they were.”Rosalie made her way over to the bed.”This is the bed he bought so Bella would have a place to sleep when she came over. I remember sneaking in here when Edward would leave to go hunting and watching her while she slept. A couple times Bella even called out my name.”

“I bet that pissed Edward off.”Irina didn’t think Edward would appreciate Bella calling out for Rosalie.

“It did. Every time it happened I would know because he would confront me as soon as he left Bella. He would accuse me of all kinds of crazy things. Carlisle actually punished me once after Edward accused me of seducing Bella. I couldn’t use my garage for two weeks.”Rosalie hadn’t cared because not being in the garage meant she had an excuse to be in the house where Bella was usually spending time with the family in the living room.

“What an asshole.”Kate said.

“All of them but Emmet and Becky were.”Rosalie took Bella’s offered hand. She smiled brightly when she saw the images Bella showed her.”You dreamed about me?”

Seeing Bella nod in reply to Rosalie’s question Jane sighed.”That’s just more proof Bella felt the mate bond when she was human.”

“But now they are dead and all that’s left us to do is smash the bed and Rosalie collect her belongings and we can get out of here.”Tanya didn’t want to stick around for too long. The only reason she was even there was she knew this would be an emotional trip for Bella and wanted to support the mute vampire.

Rosalie grabbed the end of the bed frame and ripped it off causing the bed to collapse.”That felt good. Are you guys going to help?”

“I think you should take care of this one by yourself.”Jane felt that Rosalie needed to destroy the bed herself to get some closure.

“Alright.”Rosalie wasn’t going to argue.

“Was there anything else you guys wanted to wreck in the house?”Irina saw Bella shake her head.

“No I just need a couple things from my room and the garage.”Rosalie told her once she was done destroying the bed. Before anyone would reply the sound of many feet running towards the house caught everyone’s attention.”I know that sound.”

“What is it?”Tanya had never heard it before.

“The wolves are here.”Rosalie’s statement was proven correct when the six women rushed to the front yard just in time to see twelve snarling and growling wolf come out of the tree line with a man who look to be in twenties walking behind them. Rosalie knew exactly who that man was. It was Jacob Black. Bella stiffening next to her meant that Bella recognized him as well.

“Rosalie we know you but not the others.”Jacob focused on the two red eyed vampires knowing they drank from humans. The one in the silver mask he gave most of his attention to because their very being screamed danger. If Jacob didn’t have to talk he would have been in wolf form protecting his people from the masked vampire.

“We are not back for good. We are just here to pick up some belongings.”Rosalie told him.

“Still we do not let red eyed vampires near our lands. They are to leave immediately or we will be forced to kill them.”Jacob frowned when one of the blond strangers laughed.

“You think you can kill the Silver Assassin.”Kate was really hoping for a fight.

“I don’t care what they are called. We don’t allow human drinkers near our land.”Jacob wasn’t going to back down. He had failed his people once he wasn’t going to do it again.

“We don’t want a fight Jacob. We are just tying up some loose ends and selling the place. No one is coming back to Forks.”Rosalie sure as hell wasn’t.

“I can’t trust your word. So the red eyed vampires leave or we kill you.”Jacob said.

Getting a nudge from Bella Jane sighed again.”Look Jacob was it?”

“Yes I’m Jacob alpha of the wolf pack.”Jacob told her.

“If you are alive then some of your pack mates from over fifty years ago may be as well. If that is the case then they may be some of the ones I encountered when I came here to deal with the newborns that were killing everyone in town and on your reservation.”Jane was cut off by Jacob.

“You were here?”That incident was when Jacob stepped up to be alpha after the newborns killed Sam. The reservation had taken losses and he and the other pack members blamed themselves for not protecting them. He personally blamed himself for not protecting Charlie and Bella.

Jane nodded.”Yes I was and because of that you now know that I will not hunt your people. Nor will my friend here.”

“Is the red head dead?”Jacob hadn’t seen her since the vampires had come and killed the newborns.

“Victoria was tortured severely before she was killed.”Jane had taken many chances to use her gift on Victoria before she died.

“Did she tell you what she did to Bella Swan?”Jacob had never found a body and always wondered if Victoria was holding Bella captive somewhere.

Jane looked to Bella who gave her a nod.”Bella Swan suffered greatly at Victoria’s hands but we saved her and turned her into a vampire. Now she lives a happy life at our rulers’ castle with her mates.”

“Bella’s a vampire?”Jacob hated himself for feeling relieved that Bella made it out alright. Even if she was vampire at least she was alive.

“Yes is that a problem?”Jane didn’t want any problems because Bella thought of Jacob like a brother.

Jacob shook his head.”No, as long as she is alive and happy then that’s fine with me. Her having found her imprint is even better in my opinion.”

“She is very happy.”Jane assured him.

“Thank you for saving my sister when I couldn’t.”Jacob said.”Stay as long as you like. Just please don’t go on the reservation. Not everyone will be as grateful as I am.”

“I wasn’t lying when I said we were selling the place and never coming back.”Rosalie told him.

“Do you think maybe you could give my number to Bella?”Jacob wanted to talk to his friend.

Jane once again looked to Bella who nodded.”Of course.”

“Thanks.”Jacob ignored the sounds of disapproval coming from the pack as he approached the small vampire and took the phone out of her hand. He put his number in and handed it back.”We will leave you alone now.”

“I’ll have Bella text you.”Jane was happy that Bella was getting a happy piece of her human life back.

“Come on guys.”Jacob order the pack.

“Why did you not tell him it was you?”Kate asked Bella. Bella held out her hand for Kate to take. This wasn’t the first time Bella had touched her but it still surprised Kate that Bella trusted her enough to initiate touch. Seeing the interaction through Bella’s perspective Kate instantly understood.”You’re right he would have been devastated if he found out how much torture you went through. It’s better to ease him into it.”

“Alright let’s get back to collecting everything Rosalie wants from the house.”Tanya was going to speak to Bella later about her wolf friend as it seemed like it was something positive from her human life.

“Actually would you guys mind if Bella and I dealt with my room alone?”Rosalie asked.

“Are you trying to get rid of us so you can have sex?”Irina could easily see Rosalie’s intentions.

“No.”Rosalie lied. That was exactly what she was doing.

“I’m alright with you guys having some time to yourselves.”Jane wasn’t against Rosalie and Bella taking a break to have sex. They both deserved to have a chance to make some happy memories in Forks.

“Don’t take too long.”Kate knew if Jane approved then it was going to happen as the small vampire held the authority in the triad.

“We won’t.”Rosalie once again lied. Taking Bella’s hand Rosalie led her back into the house. She had many fantasies of Bella while living in Forks. It was actually quite common for Rosalie to pleasure herself to thoughts of Bella. Especially when she got close enough to Bella to take in her scent. Now Rosalie got to not only smell her mate any time she wanted she was given full access to Bella’s body. Using that access Rosalie was planning on having sex with Bella on her old bed like she always wanted. After Bella killed the Cullens Rosalie was getting to do a lot of things she always wanted. Like traveling the world with Bella. Rosalie was looking forward to finishing in Forks because New York pride was coming up and they were planning on going with Jane and the sisters. That was just one of many plans for the future. Plans that Rosalie herself had been involved in deciding on. Thinking about those plans made her smile. It may have taken them decades but Rosalie and Bella were finally going to have their happily ever after and Rosalie couldn’t be happier.
