Ancient Critters - Condylarths
Added 2025-06-02 19:00:50 +0000 UTCI am always reading about nature and paleontology and recently have been reading up on ancient mammals. I found out that once there were hoofed mammals some of which were carnivorous! These are the ancestors of familiar animals like cows, horses, deer, tapirs, rhinos and such. The carnivorous ungulates eventually died out about 30 million years ago, but have been doodling some and here they are.
