I took the idea from 60s DC comics. They used to have some stories they labelled "Imaginary Tales" as opposed to their regular superhero stories which really happened.

GREAT material, John! Speaking of alternate realities, imagine a world where studio executives were more open minded to your ideas and bought shows like this. How the animation landscape would have progressed (instead of regressed like it has now).
