Is There Anything You Would Like to See More Of, From Me~?
Added 2023-02-24 19:00:04 +0000 UTCI am always not sure how much or how little to share on the Patreon, I feel very comfortable here. I don't want to overshare and bore anyone~! Could you please help me~? I'd like to know what you enjoy~
I am much more knowledgeable about some things than others~! I know a decent amount about writing after doing it for 7 years, but I still have a lot to learn about recording~!
This poll ends very late on Monday night~! Thank you for helping me, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Please stay warm if you are going out~! (Or if it's very warm outside, please make sure you have SPF and water~)

2023-02-24 22:39:31 +0000 UTCAw, Phillip~! No worries~! Removing background noise, or what's called your 'noise floor' (inherent noise in your recording space) is so hard to talk about because it's different for everyone~! I will share with you what I know, and what I think will help right here~ Make sure you turn off your furnace when recording. (I use a hot water bottle and blanket so I don't freeze.) If there is a mini fridge in your room or something like that, unplug it~! Take a very long noise floor sample before recording, mine is about 30 seconds long~ I think this article will help you, try using the term 'noise floor' when you're searching for solutions, I bet you will get better results~! https://voiceovertip.com/how-to-reduce-noise-floor-in-audacity/ Also keep experimenting with your gain levels on the microphone, literally write down what settings you used and how happy you were with them~! Good luck~!
