2024-03-03 23:05:38 +0000 UTCHi yes, this is in Los Angeles. When they are at the airport, it's an iconic shot of L.A.X. the viewer (US) was supposed to know (?). That along with the Palm trees, Spanish style house and the seedy end of Hollywood blvd where the guy gets hit. They are all points of reference. This is definitely a movie about be careful for what you wish for and that balance in life is best or as you said consequences.
