2022-08-17 00:24:19 +0000 UTChey Jake hope youre doing well. Here are some questions. 1. Why do composers change key , we can express the same emotions staying the say key. I get the answer as Interest , but I dont think its convincing enough can you give me a few more reasons please ? 2. Assuming the maj5 chord resolve to min 6 , I see this in some music and i also see dom 3 resolving back to min 6 ( harmonic minor ) , how does one make this decision ? does the melody dictate this ? 3. If you listened to Eric Johnsons playing how do you define his music and playing ? Example David Gilmore mostly pentatonic and blues licks , bending , chord tone targeting with bends etc. 4. Is guitar playing losing its importance in this time and age of electronic music ?
